Montane, who remember have developed all the products in this range in conjunction with the British Mountaineering Council, have really channeled into the essence of that little chalk bag adrenaline rush with the Montane Finger Jam.

Montane Men’s Trad T-Shirt –Like all the best adventure t-shirts in the world this one gives off just the right amount of “Hey. I get out there” aura without wildly overdoing it. Perfect at the crag, perfect at the indoor bouldering centre, perfect in the pub after; it comes in ‘Inca Gold’, ‘Redwood’, and ‘Charcoal’. The POLARTEC® Power Grid™ fabric is both comfortable, and owing to the innovative ‘corrugated’ nature is exceptionally warm for it’s weight (195g). The fit is snug, without being restrictive, and used on longish runs (around 20k) while building up the distance and sweat, it didn’t chafe (the problem I had last year!!). The fabric’s also nice and stretchy, without being tight, which means it doesn’t move about and turn into a crop top half way on your run. The torso is also a decent length, which is something of a chronic problem in many running tees where they only just meet the waistband of the shorts. It's slimmer than your standard everyday hoodie, but not as snug as a technical midlayer. It features a length which is long enough to stay put while reaching above your head and never feels restrictive. The internal daisychain could be a useful to aid in digging up gear from the bottom of the bag, though we've found it's not intuitive to separate off all your draws and attach them individually to a daisychain. It is long enough not to ride up while reaching above your head and moves well with your body.With a secure stretch fabric drawcord closure, a nicely positioned brush holder loop, an ergonomically shaped stiffened rim and a fleece lining to assist with chalk distribution this is one really neat little bag. It also looks dead stylish, and is available in four different colours. Montane Men’s On-Sight Pants –As any intermediate or expert climber who’s progressed up the ladder from climbing kook up through climbing beginner will tell you, it’s very easy to forget about your legs and make it all about the arms and torso while climbing. That’s a classic and fundamental error though as the legs, when used correctly, can elevate your climbing technique to ‘Honnold-esque’ heights.
