About this deal

Treadmills have been around for a long time now. However, though the basic outline and premise remains, various permutations have begun to take off. Since around the early noughties, we’ve been seeing more and more of one particular kind – the walking pad, originally engineered by a group of sports scientists in Chicago.

Always start with brisk walking to warm up those muscles. After that, jogging on the treadmill 20 minutes per day is a great place to start. After you get those 20 minutes down, you can play around with the speed and inclination on your treadmill to improve your performance. You'll start looking better and most importantly, feel better in no time. Whether your goal is to lose weight, gain muscles, or improve your heart health, running on the treadmill is a great way to do it. How much is a treadmill in Singapore? Walking pads have taken off since then as more and more people have become aware of them and the benefits they can bestow. In fact, the WalkingPad brand, the OG brand and one of the largest makers, won the highly competitive 2019 Red Dot Design Award for innovation It is also on par with the Dripex speed-wise, with a range of 0.8-6kph. As you can no doubt see by now, this is pretty standard for a walking pad (the clue is in the title, after all – you should be using it to walk, not jog!). However, if you want something that can bring you up to a heavier jog, HFC or Biggzia will be the place to look. For instance, the original WalkingPad has automatic speed controls, so you can keep at your own pace. Most are incredibly safe, with absorbent belts, so they won’t hurt you or wear your joints down, no matter how much you use them. Many will feature anti-slip belts with this in mind. They are also generally very quiet, which is vital in any piece of fitness equipment you’ll be using around other people. We’ve all heard of friends who experience injury from sports and excessive workouts outdoors. Thankfully, we have the option of treadmills. By controlling the speed and pace, it controls how much pressure we put on our legs as compared to running outdoors. A fixed flat surface on the conveyor belt allows you to pace your steps flat. Many runners also use the treadmill for training or warm-up exercises, and they can vouch for its safety. Most come with a Pause or Stop button if you need to take a break from exercising or in case of emergency. Multitasking

I was incredibly pleasantly surprised. It turns out 500w is more than enough, especially the way HomCom work it. You get a full maximum of 12km per hour, which is the fastest on this list. HomCom use this to deliver 12 different pre-set programmes, broken down into five speed settings, which will represent a challenge to everyone whilst still being fully accessible. We’ve got a bit of an odd fish here. Powered by a 2.0 HP motor, the OneTwoFit treadmill has a maximum speed of 8km per hour, which I think is a strange amount. 6km per hour is a decent walker. 10-12km per hour is a good treadmill for a jog. 8km is respectable, but doesn’t fit into either camp. You can jog, but it will cut you off before you can get any real speed up. You can use it as a walker, but then it has a load of superfluous extra speed.

You can monitor the usual metrics using the HFC’s smart little LCD – things like running time, distance travelled, calories burned, and so on.This also gives you great access to Google Maps, a full twelve different pre-set programmes and manually adjustable programming, alongside an ability to log your training activity. The onboard computer is responsive and shows everything you need on a smart LED display – including common metrics like distance run, calories burned, time spent, and so forth. Running can be a mundane task. This is why we would rather watch TV than run. Well, why not do both? Place your treadmill in front of your TV or computer or in your home gym and you can watch your favourite videos while running. Most come with some storage space for you to put your iPod, smartphone or even water bottle for ease of access. This way, you can multitask while burning stubborn fat! Cheaper than therapy It comes with gadgets too – as mentioned, the display is good. This is thanks to quite a nice LCD screen. You get Bluetooth integrated speakers, so you can stream media as you walk. The walking machine is pre-lubricated before leaving the factory. Each time the cumulative mileage of the walking machine reaches 100km, the display screen displays a refuelling display in red, allowing you to better care for it and get the most use from it, with a degree of longevity. You get all the mod cons, too, including an LED screen that shows you time spent running, distance, speed and calories burned, which is, as ever, always useful data to have access to. The screen itself is easy to use and incredibly navigable, even for a dinosaur like me. In essence, a walking pad is a small, lightweight treadmill alternative that is incredibly portable. The original template came from a team of product experts, including sports science professors and electrical and mechanical engineers, in Chicago in 2016.

INSTALLATION-FREE & SPACE SAVER DESIGN】: Treadmill arrives with fully assembled already, and can be used directly after unboxing. Whether you’re a serious runner looking for a decent way to get a sweat on in your living room or you have joint or weight concerns that mean a comfortable, well-supported power walk is the most relevant to you, you are covered. OneTwoFit’s offering is very smart, though. It features a very nice LED display with smartphone app connectivity. It can connect to the FitShow app on your phone via Bluetooth, through which it can keep tabs on your progress, including all your biometrics and health markers and your performance data (including speed, time, calories, distance, steps, and so on).As it is lower priced, the warranty cover is not as good – you get 12 months here where other brands we see offer 2 years on motors and 5 years on labour and parts ( like Branx Fitness) WORRY-FREE SHOPPING】: 2 Years of Warranty Service. During the warranty period, any quality problems can be returned or replaced for free of charge. If you have any problems after receiving the treadmill, please let us know in time and we will actively solve it. Before using the treadmill, make sure that the red lanyard has been connected to the yellow area on the treadmill panel Many folding treadmills offer inclines up to 12 per cent, and some even offer declines (down to -5 per cent). But some ranges of folding treadmill on the market offers no incline settings at all. What treadmill is best for home use in Singapore? Best Treadmills in Singapore It is limited to people under 6 ft and under 100kg in our opinion so make sure you know your own size and weight! HFC’s Motorised Treadmill comes fully assembled and ready to go. It’s simple but very well designed and made – you could do a lot worse, and little better, for the money.
