I don't mind a dual POV, but one of the chapters switched POVs in the middle with no warning and I was very confused.

Aaron is such a golden retriever and I adore him and I need more male leads like him. kimberly burns is a strong-willed and independent character, contrasting aaron calem, who’s super positive and full of excitement. i think they had great chemistry and a respectful relationship. they’re both very protective over each other and always try to be truthful with one another (which i really appreciated).The world building in this book is absolutely phenomenal. At first, I was slightly confused, but that has nothing to do with the way it is written. (pun intended) The main character was also just as dull as the rest of them. The plot had sort of a mystery thing going on, which could have worked except the author was transparent the entire time. Anyone with any semblance of critical thinking skills could have figured out who our villain was, and why he was targeting them. The strongest family ties are often the ones woven through friendships, compassion, and shared moments.”

Even their final "proclamation" of love is FILLED with the word "hypothetical," and I mean that literally.
