Twisted Lies was alright. The story of Stella and Christian was hard to follow. The ending of this story is not like the other three, and that's how I personally feel. I am going to be honest and say that Christian would not do the social media thing. He was so obsessed and possessive and "cold" that it made no sense.

Twisted Love is my next favourite book. I personally feel that Alex was sometimes a bit too pushy. However, I love how all the couples in each book are different. Alex and Ava's story is complicated and was hard to follow at first. But the ending of the book was possibly the best ending of the series. all he does is constantly go on about how he is so dangerous and dark and dangerous and could kill you on sight. have i mentioned that he's dangerous at least Edward was a vampire so the danger was inherently there. Christian literally spends 70% of the book doing nothing except talking about how dangerous he is and be really bad at business and networking. that one scene where Stella had to save his ass by recognizing Christian's business partner was looking for a human connection and not just money-money talk? how did this man become a millionaire? i don't think he has ever talked to a human before.But the more she gets to know him, the more she realizes there’s more than meets the eye to the man she’s hated for so long. but all jokes aside personally, aside from 3 instances (christian washing stella's hair, saying the line "you taste like mine" and keeping stella's ring for 5 years), i didn't feel like TL is a copy of TMO and take it from someone who inhales and adores danielle's writing, and have previously called out a different author who blatantly copied scenes from TSO. was it inspired? sure. plagiarised? no. quite frankly it's disrespectful to christiangianna if you keep comparing the two.

The way the forbidden love trope was mixed with the bodyguard x princess trope made it even better!!! The vibes and settings in this book were absolutely immaculate!! From gorgeous Costa Rica to a stunning castle ugh I LOVE IT!!! I honestly need more books like that with that sort of setting, it’s just so… romantic!!! I have reviewed each book in the series separately as well, feel free to read those if you want more details on why I rated the characters as I have. My only problem with the book was that when I compared it to Twisted Hate, it felt short. I enjoy reading books with witty banter in their relationship like joshjules had vs the calm and cool approach christianstella have. The spice in this book was also less compared to the other twisted books (2 major scenes) TG and TH had a lot more. And as she navigates the intricacies - and treacheries - of her new role, she must also hide her desire for her bodyguard – a man she can't have… If I ever have to explain to someone what grumpy x sunshine/ bodyguard x princess means, i´ll just point them to Rhys and Bridgett😋

mystery/suspense element - this was probably my least favourite part and hence why i took away 1 star, but the stalker reveal was super anticlimactic for me, i know how scared stella is of her stalker but some evil part of me wanted it to be christian (which he kind of was? but he gave up after a year??? where is the stamina mr harper not a good stalker are you?). And as she navigates the intricacies—and treacheries—of her new role, she must also hide her desire for a man she can’t have. They make such a cute couple,” the reporter next to me, a curvy brunette in a bright pink suit that hurt my eyes, cooed. “Don’t you think so?” this series ended with one of the best and most cutest epilogues ever. rhys is the dilfiest of them all though but only because he is a 6'5 girl dad #period. Anyways Alex is my 3rd favorite man I love them all but Christian is more in his emotions than him and Rhys deserves the world. Don’t get me wrong tho Alex and Ava are definitely one of my favorite couples they just compliment each other in a way. This book is my 3rd favorite in the series even tho I love them all. Alex and Ava hold a special place in my heart 🤍
