After 24-h incubation at 37 °C and 5% CO 2, the culture supernatant was aspirated gently to leave 100 μL in each well; then, 100 μL of luciferase substrate (PerkinElmer, 6066769) was added to each well. 150 μL of lysate was mixed and transferred to a white opaque 96-well microplate (PerkinElmer, Ensight, 6005290) for the detection of luminescence using a microplate luminometer (PerkinElmer, Ensight), after incubation at room temperature for 2 min. Each group of plasma/serum samples contained two replicates. IC 50 were determined by a four-parameter non-linear regression using GraphPad Prism 8.0 (GraphPad Software Inc.).
