Description

Mix more jam or honey with your prepared toppings of choice, then pile the toppings onto the brie wheel. Yes, that’s literally zero hands on time to bake brie! Then you’ll need a few minutes to dollop the cheese with toppings. Here’s what we like to use… Baked brie toppings! Thyme- fresh thyme adds a nice minty earthy flavor to tone down the sweetness of the recipe and really give it balance. If you are using homemade sauce or leftover cranberry sauce, skip to step 3. If using canned sauce, add it to a medium bowl with the sugars (some canned sauces are still quite tart and you will appreciate the optional granulated sugar), orange zest, cinnamon, vanilla, allspice, and stir to combine; set aside. Note – you will not use all of the sauce for this recipe and will have some leftover for another use. Got 15 minutes? Learn how to make this show-stopping baked brie recipe! Serve this warm, gooey baked brie, topped with fig jam, walnuts, and pistachios at your next event and watch it disappear. It’s one of the easiest appetizers you'll make.

Brie pairs well with different types of jam, nuts, and breads. Also note, the rind is edible so do not remove it! ingredients ingredients Use a wheel of brie, not a wedge. While a wedge of brie will work here, I think a wheel (or round) gives you more of a grand presentation and allows you to load on more toppings. You don't need to buy a brie wheel from an expensive cheese shop, either. Use what you find at your local grocery store; I often buy mine at places like Whole Foods or Costco. That's it! No puff pastry or crescent roll dough, no difficulty instructions - just baked brie, some delicious toppings, and a fun appetizer for literally any occasion. You don’t really need a recipe for this. All I do is pop a brie or camembert in the microwave for 1 minute 15 seconds on high, or until it’s melted. It’s really easy to tell – just prod it in the centre and it will feel really soft and….er….well, it will feel melted. 🤷🏻‍♀️ If you can't find brie, camembert works here too! If you can't find either of those, tryCoulommiers or Reblochon cheeses. This baked brie recipe is one for the record books! Warm Baked Brie with Jam is one of the easiest appetizers. It takes 20 minutes and you only need 5 ingredients!

Bake for 15 minutes! To test whether it’s done, touch your finger in the middle of the brie. It should feel like it’s completely liquid in the center. After you take your first bite, you'll know what I'm talking about. Imagine this - melted cheese on a baking dish (or sheet pan) with your favorite jam, some nuts, a pinch of fresh herbs. The brie becomes very melted, so it’s best to buy a round of brie rather than a wedge of brie; a wedge would just ooze cheese everywhere.

Creamy Brie Cheese- You can find brie at your local grocery store in the cheese section. They also sell it at Target so it shouldn't be too hard to find! I used an 8 oz wheel for this recipe. If you're making this dish for a crowd, I would suggest using a 16 oz wheel. Then top it with roughly chopped pecans, pomegranate seeds and pour over maple syrup. And that’s it!
