About this deal

The mop features a self-wringing mechanism to help you control the saturation. We found it easy to use and quite effective in drying the mop head. To wring the mop, pull it taut and twist it against the ratcheting mechanism. Once the water has been squeezed out, simply push a button to release the mop head from the ratchet. In our tests, the Swiffer was good at cleaning lighter messes but not as effective with wet, heavy-duty spills, so if you’re regularly mopping large messes, you may want to choose a mop with more cleaning power. We also liked that this mop offers a truly hands-free experience. The mop didn't require us to dirty our hands or put lots of muscle into the wringing process—it’s easy and intuitive. Tile floors are much more resistant to water and stains. Steam mops, microfiber mops, and spin mops can all be used to clean tile floors. Our favorite mop for cleaning tile is the Bissell SpinWave Hard Floor Spin Mop.

Charles is designed to shine in the wet – and this is indeed where it has the edge over the competition. Having a vacuum which can clean up spillages is a major bonus. If you’ve ever had a big spill in your home or even had a problem with the plumbing you know exactly how difficult it can be to clean it up. Not with a Charles in the house. Ip and Vieira agree that spin mops are the favorite mop type among cleaning experts for their convenient wringing feature, easy maintenance, reusability, and compatibility with most floor types. Ip and Peterson also recommend steam mops because they can clean and disinfect without harsh chemicals. “Steam mops offer ease of use and sanitize floors without chemicals, which is a big plus,” says Peterson. That said, it’s worth noting that some floors, like hardwood, are too sensitive for a steam mop. In the dry it has a hefty storage capacity of 15 litres and a wide range of attachments means it can switch effortlessly between different tasks. It really is a vacuum which can rise to meet just about every challenge you can think of. Over the years we’ve seen his family grow rapidly. We’ve since been introduced to Hetty, Charles, George and James, among others. They specialise in all sorts of jobs whether it’s clearing up troublesome pet hair or devouring spilled liquids.Have Questions about Henry, Hetty, Charles, George – or any other vacuums? We may already have the answer… What’s the best Henry for my small home or outhouse? This mop head is quite large though, which can make it difficult to do detailed cleaning on floors. But, we found that its multiple attachments and handheld feature make up for the size of the main head. Overall, this mop's performance made it a strong rival against many of the other name brand steam mops we tested. One of the standout factors of this mop is its telescoping metal handle, which felt substantially more heavy-duty than most of the other options we tested. We also loved that it can extend up to 70 inches, making it an amazing option for a household with several members who want to help with chores. Just know: You'll want to put the microfiber pad in the washing machine to clean it in between uses. The cherry on top is that it is an energy class A. Plus the Airobrush and the extra attachment for hard floors.

However, while it’s designed for the wet, this also excels in the dry. An impressive 15 litre storage capacity when dry makes it an ideal option for professional cleaners, but it is also light at only 7.1kgs and will be easy to get around the home.Robot mops: As an advanced option, robot mops turn cleaning into a hands-free experience. They'll clean all of your floors on their own—just like a robot vacuum—and can often be controlled through an app. There are different aspects of Henry vacuums that come with a class rating. Energy Efficiency is one, suction another. There may be more. As a general rule, Class A is the best you can buy. A Traditional Henry has an Energy Class A rating, for example. Other Considerations to Make Before Buying a Henry Vacuum Cleaner Vacuum mops: Vacuum mops have powerful suction for dirt and debris and can simultaneously clean your floors with a solution. Many are compatible with multiple surfaces, including sealed flooring, carpets, and rugs. This mop came with a mop, four mop pads, a charging adapter, a storage tray, and two bottles of cleaning solution. To assemble the mop, we simply had to snap the main pole into place and it was ready to use. Thanks to its 18-volt lithium battery, it can run for up to 20 minutes on one charge.

The mop head is made of highly absorbent microfiber, which extends the time between mopping and wringing out the mop (although we recommend wringing it out frequently to avoid spreading stains and debris). While this spin mop is not compact and does not have wheels, we still think it’s one of the best spin mops for regular cleaning. Everyone struggling with storage space needs to consider size limitations before they buy from the Henry vacuum cleaner range. The smaller models will work best for smaller homes – but come with less dust bin capacity. We recommend the Henry Micro for smaller homes. The largest of the Henry vacuums is the George, which is a 4-in-1… although the Charles comes close. What’s in the box?

The hoses only give an extra metre or two in terms of extra reach. However, the cord winds out for up to 26 metres, which is the average length a Henry vacuum cleaner can stretch to. If you own a flat, the Henry will be able to clean the whole place without you having to unplug and move. Energy Efficiency We were pleased that the mop was able to completely remove apple juice and canola oil from hardwood floors. While it removed most of the butter, the mop wasn’t able to remove the bits that were wedged between the hardwood planks. However, when mopping on tile floors, the mop was able to remove all of the stains. This mop kit came with a mop, two mopping pad refills, one container of cleaning solution, and two batteries. We were pleased with how easy the initial assembly was. We simply had to snap the two poles into place, insert the batteries, attach the solution container into its designated spot, and attach a disposable mop pad to the mop head. The entire process took less than a minute, and we were able to put everything together without consulting instructions.
