About this deal

Whether you need a plier, electrical crimper, bottle opener, screwdriver, wire stripper, hard wire cutters, or saw, this multipurpose tool is something worth getting. Most importantly, it can be a great buddy for work. The Rebar multi-tool is designed to bring out the tools handily. As a matter of fact, you’ll be able to access and identify the tool-set with ease.

The Rebar is excellent in terms of durability – not only are the blades and all the tools made from a premium material that is extremely tough, but they are also rust-resistant. This multi-tool is not at all prone to corrosion, and if you properly take care of it, you should be able to use it for quite some time. On the other hand, the warranty doesn’t cover sharpening, cleaning, color finishes, imprinting, accessories, and cover sheaths. Cleaning TechniquesDepending on what your Leatherman Rebar multi-tool has been exposed to, there are various cleaning techniques that you can consider. You don’t even get a Torx screwdriver, which is something else I wanted to point out. That’s fine if you rarely encounter Torx screws, but not if you want a multi-tool that has that feature. Either way, I recommend the Leatherman Rebarto everybody interested in small yet amazing multi-tools.

Since this multi-tool doesn’t have outside accessible knife blades, the possibilities of pinching your fingers and hands are dramatically reduced. Who Can Use This Product? The final tool of the Rebar is the one at the bottom on the left hand side of the image. It is a can opener, a bottle opener and a wire stripper all in one. It might just be the tool you use most, which brings me to my next point – what happens if it breaks? If your tool has been exposed to marine environments or saltwater, make sure to rinse it with fresh water thoroughly. After washing, dry it and lubricate using water-displacing manufactured goods. We heartily recommend this tool to electricians and fencers that will predominantly use the pliers and wire cutters. Because the blades and screwdrivers require deploying the pliers to access, we recommend something like the Victorinox or Leatherman Charge to those with more all-around uses. Value Another thing that I was hoping to see on the Rebar is a screwdriver that uses interchangeable bits. You get this feature on some premium multi-tools, but sadly Rebar is not one of them. Instead, you are limited to the basic Philips screwdriver and two flathead screwdrivers.

I bought this as I wanted a UK legal carry multi tool. I do have a Wingman. This tool is several leagues above the Wingman in terms of quality and how it feels in the hand. It does not have scissors, like the Wingman, but the toolset on the Bond is significantly better, especially the Philips screwdriver. And the fact that it comes with a decent pouch just adds up to a very good buy for the money. Also, when bringing out any of the tools, you’ll not chip your fingernails. So to all ladies and gents out there, this could be a great multi-tool for you. Quality of Construction Most importantly, for individuals who do not want to compromise the product’s quality for quantity. Specification To remove asphalt or other substances, you can use turpentine to remove it. Also, don’t use any chlorine products. Also, it’s worth pointing out that the metal and wood file on the Rebar is not suitable for sharpening other blades. It is not tough enough for that, but you can use it for smoothing edges and sharpening pencils. Only files that are diamond coated are rough enough to be used for blade sharpening, and those tend to cost about twice as much as the Rebar, so bear that in mind.
