About this deal

Now the phone will form a temporary connection to the gateway. This might take a minute or two. If it takes longer than that, please try restarting the phone and gateway and trying again. If you still cannot connect, let us know and we'll be happy to help.

The battery in the HT1 sensor device generally has a 1 to 2 year lifespan, often closer to two (more in warm conditions and less in extreme cold), but there are a few details to consider when changing it. You’ll then see an enumeration of the available services and characteristics (these terms are explained in the next section of this document). Find the characteristic starting with 0xEF090080 and tap it. This is the Read Temperature characteristic. With the drag of a slider you can set the optimal range for any situation, whether it's a greenhouse or your guitar. Then when your Android device is within range of the sensor (300+ feet line of sight), it will be continuously monitoring conditions.

In the dashboard UI, there are two primary modes (selected in upper left). They are the "Graph" and the "Status" modes. Graph mode is the time series data from sensors. Status mode is the current conditions, the signal strength, the last reading, and other details for your sensors. In this view, red indicates that the sensor's last reading is out of date. This is particularly useful for accounts with large numbers of sensors. Even at the maximum value of +5dBm, battery life is quite long (over two years depending upon the operation mode and conditions), so this is the value we typically recommend to reduce signal issues. Valid values are: -21, -18, -15, -12, -9, -6, -3, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

The following steps will almost certainly get the system up and running though.

Well, sensor push told is in a matter of minutes that our wine fridge is a liar. Not only was the dual zone more of a single zone… 55 degrees is more like 43 degrees. If you’re casual wine drinkers like us, it’s probably a good idea to verify the temperature with some kind of thermometer. But, if you have thousands of dollars stored away in a cellar… a widget like this is cheap insurance and provides piece of mind that your hundred dollar bottles are safe and comfy. Humidors are a Pain to Maintain SensorPush is a classic example of scratching one's own itch. As homeowners and musicians ourselves, we were unsatisfied with the options available for monitoring and collecting temperature and humidity data. So we set out to build a better option. First you will need an accurate reference for temperature and/or humidity. Each value is calibrated separately and you can choose to calibrate one, both or neither as necessary. Accuracy of the uncalibrated sensor can be found in the full specifications. This read will also populate the relative humidity data, so if desired, it can be read immediately after without the need for a separate read command.

It features the world’s most accurate digital humidity/temperature sensor with a typical accuracy of ±1.5%RH/±0.1°C and adds a sensor membrane and o-ring seals for a durable splash and rain proof design as well as a highly accurate barometric pressure sensor with a typical accuracy of ±0.5mb. Battery changes are now easier and even more infrequent than ever with the easy change battery cap and a typical battery life of over 2 years in normal conditions. If the gateway is ONLINE, and you're getting at least occasional data from the sensor, but it's having periodic dropouts, then please refer to this article for tips on that situation. If the sensor isn't reporting data at all, or you've confirmed that the issues in the previous article aren't causing the problem, it's a good idea to test if the sensor works directly with a phone, so please proceed to the rest of this article. Overall, the data and warnings Sensor Push provides is miles better than monitoring the nursery manually. It seems like our son is sleeping better, that may be changes brought on by age, but we like to think he’s more comfortable. If your WiFi network does not appear as an option among available WiFi networks, please verify that the router is communicating via 2.4 GHz or is in "dual band" mode because the Gateway requires 2.4 GHz. If not, then please turn on dual band/2.4GHz and try again. The valid range is 32 – 32767. The value 0xFEEF is a special value that disables advertising altogether, rendering the device unconnectable until the battery is removed and reinstalled. It is used internally for device testing and should not be used under normal circumstances.

But, then we had a son. We spent a ton of time setting up the nursery. Finding the best crib, the best changing table, and obviously set him up with a child safe purifier. Within the first few months we noticed that he always sounded like he had a cold. A trip to the pediatrician helped us realize that it actually wasn’t a cold… he was dried out. Eazy fix, we just moved one of our test humidifiers into his room to get the relative humidity to a more ideal range. To make sure things didn’t get too humid we also enlisted the help of our favorite thermometer/hydrometer. Whether you are using a SensorPush sensor on its own, or in conjunction with the G1 WiFi Gateway, the initial setup (a.k.a. pairing) process is the same. Similar to the "Query Samples" example, but with an added array for specific sensor IDs, and also added startTime and stopTime. copy to clipboard curl -X POST "https://api.sensorpush.com/api/v1/samples" -H "accept: application/json" -H "Authorization: " -d @- < curl -X POST "https://api.sensorpush.com/api/v1/samples" \

This was the moment we really, truly started to care about temperature and relative humidity. We wanted our new baby to be comfortable. And, since he can’t really tell us himself we needed to collect some data. A Simple Digital Thermometer “Works” a Wireless Thermometer / Hygrometer is Better. Important note: Most of our sensor devices have an open protocol which allows you to programmatically extract a sensor’s current conditions via the Bluetooth. The only sensor device that does not have this open protocol is the HT1 model sensor because it is a first-generation sensor.

Once you're connected, you'll be prompted to create an account (or log in if you have already created one). Note: the sensor in this video is from an early production run. Later model sensors do not have the additional wires and disc on the inside of the device).
