Look 2 – This took a lot of effort in refraining to not go too warm. Also, it required a lot of blending. I tried to show the diversity in the palette by going more golden copper than warm rusty. Eyeshadow palettes can take your look to the next level, whether you are going for the no-makeup makeup look, full-out glam, or somewhere in between! Makeup eye shadow can completely transform your eyes, enhance your natural eye color, or simply call attention toward your eyes. With our eyeshadow palettes, you can create an iconic look all your own! Simmer: Described by the brand as a Copper. This is a medium, warm copper with a metallic sheen. It is smooth and has good pigmentation. The shade is so similar to the shade Sunset – it makes me wonder why there wasn’t a bit more variation between these two – to allow for a more varied eye look. This really is a beautiful palette, the shadows are high quality and certainly don’t disappoint. I think the shade range is fantastic and really thought out. It offers great variety and flexibility but still comfortably sits in that warm toned family. Despite it being so warm toned, it’s really wearable and surprising versatile. Its a palette I have been reaching for non-stop and such a beautiful addition to my collection. This look has to be my favorite. It is warm, but has a very day time/ wearable look to it. This will be perfect to wear to the office or school. I love how this palette blends: these shadows pretty much blend themselves and a look like this can be whipped up in a matter of minutes.

The Tarte Toasted palette definitely has some similarities to the Urban Decay Heat palette. I don’t own the Heat palette, so I can’t compare them in terms of quality. However, I do own two other naked palettes and rate them very highly in my collection. The deciding factor for me was I wanted to try a palette from Tarte, as I was less familiar with their products. Even though the Heat palette makes me drool when I look at swatches, I felt the Toasted had a more wearable range of shades for my taste. That being said I’m not ruling out getting the Heat palette in the future. Both palette have 12 shadows and the price point is very similar. As is the amount of eye shadows in each pan, so there isn’t much between them. It really comes down to personal preference.funny girl Ingredients: Mica, ethylhexyl palmitate, talc, zinc stearate, boron nitride, silica, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hexylene glycol, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, kaolin, tin oxide, titanium dioxide (CI 77891), iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77499). Out of the 12 shades there are 7 mattes, 3 shimmers, one matte with glitter and one glitter shade. As you can see the palette is very much a gold/ orange/ brown toned palette. Not as red as Urban Decay’s Naked Heat and not as orange as a Morphe 35O. The shades are a bit more wearable and neutral, which is why this is quite possibly one of the best warm toned palettes out there. The Swatches Cashmere: Described by the brand as a Pale Peach. My most used shade – so much so that the brand name has disappeared from the shadow altogether. This is a light to medium, soft peach shade with warm undertones and a matte finish. The shade is soft and smooth but incredibly powdery. So, not only is this the most used shade – being perfect for transition – the fact that it is too powdery will make me hit pan on this way sooner than any other shadow in the palette. It has decent pigmentation. It can sheer out easily which is counter-productive if you are using it on the lid – but great if you are using it as a transition shade. Eyeshadow palettes: my one true makeup love. And I have been acquiring a few again. I plan to review them all and one of those new additions to my makeup collection is Tarte’s Tartelette Toasted eyeshadow palette. Everyone went crazy for warm toned shadows in 2017 and Tarte was a little bit late to hop on the bandwagon. However, the Tartelette palettes are some of their most popular and the In Bloom version is one of my all time favorite palettes. Will I love Toasted just as much? Do you need this palette? If you like neutral looks and have loads of neutral palettes, go ahead and skip this. However, if you use only neutrals and are looking for something more varied – this warm take on a neutral palette may just be your jam. It isn’t a must-have palette, but if you do buy it, you will quite enjoy it.

rebel Ingredients: Talc, silica, boron nitride, zinc stearate, ethylhexyl palmitate, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hexylene glycol, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, kaolin, carmine (CI 75470), iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), manganese violet (CI 77742), ultramarines (CI 77007). answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but For my first look I am going super warm. I focused on using the middle row mostly. With these super warm looks, while they make my eyes look more brown, I also feel they make me look quite pasty, so I try to go in with a bit of eyeliner to make my eyes stand out more. That way, I feel a look like this pops more and really adds that sultry aspect to it that makes these looks work.

There isn’t a shade in this palette that I don’t love and use. That really is a rare thing to say. Layout You have to keep in mind that this is not a universally-usable palette. Women with deeper skin tones may find the shade variation not working for them. I think this is more suitable for light to medium complexions, even tan skin, but anyone deeper, should skip this. After putting this palette to the test for a while now, I wanted to share with you a full run-down review and if I think its worth the spend. As I mentioned in my Pixi palette review, I have been using the same eye-primer routine when using this palette. Benefit’s Lemon aid followed by Urban Decay’s Primer Potion set with a powder matching my skintone. Using this routine I find that the shadows wear for around 6-7 hours before fading. I do notice that the shimmers are the first to go with the matte shades hanging in a little while longer before wearing away. I find this comparable to most of my other high-end palettes, so I’m pleased with the wear time.

It’s late October now and dare I say the Tarte Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette released at just the right time? The new Tartelette Toasted Eyeshadow Palette has been hinted at since May. Yes, May! Everyone has been eagerly awaiting this warm, Fall-themed palette for months now but Tarte used some smart marketing to build the hype and release it at just the right time when the leaves are starting the change and the cool bite of autumn is in the air.Candle is the weakest shade for me, it’s very crumbly and has a lot of fall-out. It’s a beautiful shade but dipping your brush is creates a snow storm of powder. I still love it as an inner corner highlight shade but you have to be careful when using it as to not make a mess. Pigmentation Latte: Described by the brand as a Tan. This is a light to medium brown with warm golden undertones and a matte finish. It is quite powdery – like Cashmere. It has good pigmentation. It can sheer out easily which is counter-productive if you are using it on the id – but great if you are using it as a transition shade.

Texture: I have discussed the texture of each shade individually. All the shades seemed smooth and buttery. The mattes are quite powdery – some more than the others. Also, some shades can sheer out more easily when trying to blend. Having said that, most of the shades are extremely easy to work with. They apply smoothly and blend out easily onto the skin. I received this palette last week and have used it about 4 times since then – creating a few different looks. Before we get into them, Let us find out about the individual shades in the palette. We will take them up row-wise. The Tarte Tartelette Toasted palette came out at the tail end of last year and captured my attention right away. As a self-proclaimed warm toned eyeshadow lover, I knew I wanted this palette for myself. After kindly receiving this palette as a Christmas present and have been putting it to the test ever since.I was so happy to see a Tartelette with more pink and rosy shades and like the other Tartelette eyeshadow palettes, the shades in Tartelette Juicy are coordinated so all the shades in each row can be used to create a stunning eye look. Tarte Tartelette Eyeshadow Palettes Verdict Fireside: Described by the brand as a Deep Plum. I don’t know how it seems plum to Tarte. The deepest shade in the palette. This is a dark, deep, dirty brown shade with a matte finish. It has good pigmentation and works very well to deepen the eye look or even as an eyeliner. A fair note of what I've observed over the last few years: These Tarte Tartelette Eyeshadow Palettes seem to go on sale at least one a year, if not more. The colours blend easily and mesh very well together – without getting muddy. Though not as easily as say, the shadows from Natasha Denona, but you get the gist.
