As one of the most skilled swordsmen in the One Piece world, Roronoa Zoro has a wide range of abilities when it comes to wielding different swords. He’s known for his “Three Sword Style,” but he’s also proficient with using just one or two swords, depending on the situation. Zoro’s proficiency with different sword styles is part of what makes him such a formidable opponent in battle. Although the Devil Fruits are the best-known objects in the lore of Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece series, there are numerous relevant objects that make up the lore. Most of them are either treasures or weapons and in this article, we are going to talk about the latter group, as we are, once again, going to talk about the swords of One Piece. Now, we have already talked about the strongest swords and the strongest swordsmen of One Pieceand in this article, we are going to focus on the Meito or, to be more precise, on the Grade Blades, as we are going to explain the sword grades in One Piece. What are the Meito in One Piece? Roronoa Zoro is a swordsman, first and foremost. As such, he has wielded 6 proper swords in the entirety of One Piece. This doesn’t include his other blade weapons such as a cutlass and a tanto he had been forced to use as the situation called for. Nor does it include the time when he borrowed Nakiri swords from Johnny and Yusaku during his battle against Hachan. I mean, the guy might be indisposed but he can’t fight without his beloved swords by his side. Used by Zoro, this blade is the one he always places in his mouth. This blade is also the reason why Tashigi seeks to capture Zoro, as according to her, such a blade should not be in the hands of a pirate. Wadô Ichimonji was forged by Shimotsuki Kozaburo, who then left the Land of the Wa more than 50 years ago. The sword then came into the hands of Kuina who rarely used it.

Whitebeard can wield it just as well with one hand as with both hands. The naginata can be empowered with its user’s Armament Haki, or with its Devil Fruit to increase its destructive power. Being one of the 12 Saijo Ô Wazamono, the 12 highest grade blades among the Meito, Murakumogiri’s blade is among the strongest in the world. Roronoa Zoro is undoubtedly one of the best-known One Piece characters. Like Luffy, Zoro wants to be the best in his own category, i.e., he wants to become the best swordsman in the world, surpassing his idol and rival, Dracule Mihawk, who is said to be the best swordsman in the world. Zoro uses three swords at the moment, but has used several others during his career. Tenguyama Hitetsu described Enma as being able to “slice into the depths of the underworld” (alongside Ame no Habakiri being able to “slice the sky itself”).
The fifty Skillful Grade Blades ( 良業物 , Ryō Wazamono ?) [1] are blades of a very high quality, outclassed only by the twelve Supreme Grade swords and the twenty-one Great Grade swords. These swords yield exceptional strength, sharpness, durability, with their light weight being a key factor for speed-based swordsmanship. The panel of Zoro keeping Sandai Kitetsu in the manga is extremely similar to that of Zoro keeping Enma. This also puts into question whether the amount of blades for each Grade category is still accurate, such blades could've also been destroyed.
