About this deal

The only thing these stories have in common is their starting point. Each author showcased in this anthology was featured in The Bookworm Box in 2020. Each author has graciously donated their story so that 100% of profits from this anthology will be going to the various charities The Bookworm Box is able to support because of you, the readers. I also want to add, I loved the side characters. Every single one of them. Theo and Josh stole my goddamn heart. The only thing I rolled my eyes at was Lily writing to Ellen still but alas a book can’t be too perfect. But wait, there's more. We're not just any old book club. We're a book club with a heart. You can even influence our collection! Each user gets three free book requests every month. Just tell us what you'd like to see in our collection, and if we can get our hands on it from the publisher, we'll add it within 24 hours. How cool is that?

also. every time tiktok is mentioned in a book, an angel loses its wings. you're telling me lily knows about tiktok and gen z but she doesn't know that ellen is a horrible person? ok i dont think the second book was necessary tbh. And the only thing i liked about ( it starts with us ) was atlas and getting to know him and his past better and watching how well he’s progressed through it all and how strong he’s become. I also loved all his romantic moments with lily because they both deserve each other. the letters were basically coho saying “see they are in love! they’re not bland! they do have other things in common other than their trauma!) which is false. We're cheaper than those other guys. Yep, you heard us right! Once you pay for your membership, you've got lifetime access to our entire collection, including anything we add to it in the future. It ends with us was about Lily and her journey to end the cycle of abuse. It starts with Us is about Lily and Atlas navigating life after ending their own cycles.Lowen Ashleigh is a struggling writer on the brink of financial ruin when she accepts the job offer of a lifetime. Jeremy Crawford, the husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford, has hired Lowen to complete the remaining books in a successful series his injured wife is unable to finish. Hoover does a great job of (at least per my own experience) depicting some of Lily’s feelings/ inner thoughts, etc. in regards to being a domestic abuse survivor. It stays with you. I’m not new to Colleen Hoover but there was a certain circumstance (won’t tell you, no spoilers!) made me actually curse her out and hate her for a moment. And get this – you can read your books on as many devices as you want. That means you can choose any app to host your book collection, and read on the go, wherever you are! her excuses for ryle is always for her daughter not to go through a complicated life but thats so stupid because Ryle hasnt changed at all and that makes him dangerous even for emmy, so its not something to excuse and she should’ve reported all his past abuse bur she hadnt! And she didnt even report his actions when he pushed her and was about to hit her!

The Bookworm Box is proud to present Two More Days, our second anthology installment. Much like the first installment, Two More Days is an exciting and unique reading experience with contributions from several of our charity's featured authors. Each author was given the same first sentence. Where they took that sentence was completely up to them. The writing’s also addictive and she did a great job setting the book in Boston, so mad props there. This lends perspective - and a few different ones at that - to an important subject. Everyone should read this. It might just open your eyes and your mind.my theory still stands: colleen hoover, ironically, cannot write a good romance. i believe every single one of her books has these terrible, wild plot twists to cover up the fact that she cannot. lily and atlas had zero chemistry apart from them talking about how miserable they were when they first met and how they were each other’s saving grace. Lily hasn't always had it easy, but that's never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She's come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up - she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily's life suddenly seems almost too good to be true. lily doesn’t have a decent support system. i know she says that she does, but having your abusive ex husband’s sister as your best friend (and literally only her, as lily mentions in the book), is just not? like yes it’s better than nothing but i really hated the way allysa acted in a bunch of scenes. like is she supposed to be a likable character? the ending was beautiful but i hoped for an ending where i could sense lily’s personality progressing to be stronger, but that didn’t happen unfortunately.
