About this deal

While Polyglutamic Acid, commonly abbreviated as “PGA,” is an acid, it does not exfoliate, but has similar benefits to Hyaluronic Acid. What makes PGA unique is that it is water-soluble providing moisture to the skin surface. It minimises the evaporation of water by creating a thin, breathable film on the skin that reduces water from escaping. And it is considered a perfect priming ingredient for foundation – smoothing the skin surface and leaving it dewy and glass-like. Founded by Colette Laxton and Mark Curry in 2018, The INKEY List was born from a belief that better knowledge powers better decisions. We know that skincare can be confusing. But we also know that you want to understand more about your skin so you can make the right decisions. We all know how important it is to protect our skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays, especially when we're out in the sun for extended periods of time. But it can be a bit challenging to keep makeup intact while re-applying SPF throughout the day. Worry not, as there are clever ways to ensure your skin stays well protected without ruining your makeup.

Stay one step ahead of the sun with x2 of our bestselling lightweight, broad-spectrum Dewy SPF 30. This game-changing SPF offers UVA & UVB protection and has been designed to work for all skin tones and blend seamlessly into the skin, leaving an undetectable, dewy finish. (97% said it looked invisible on their skin tone*). And, most importantly, the protection factor: Polyglutamic Acid Dewy Sunscreen is formulated to provide a broad-spectrum SPF 30 shield, thanks to common sunscreen ingredients, including avobenozone, ensulizole, octisalate, and octocrylene. Also noting that while this is a chemical sunscreen, it contains no oxybenzone or octinoxate , which are believed to be harmful to coral reefs.Have you heard of Polyglutamic Acid? Well, if you haven't, it's a game-changer for your skin! This ingredient can hold up to four times the amount of water compared to hyaluronic acid, which means it will leave your skin looking plump and radiant. It is a key ingredient in the Hydration trio that also includes glycerin and squalane. Together, they are responsible for giving that glow to your skin without the oily or greasy feeling. The broad-spectrum chemical SPF 30 shield sunscreen includes the ingredients of avobenozone, ensulizole, octisalate, and octocrylene. They keep your skin safe from the harsh effects of the sun. It’s important to note, this product is free of oxybenzone and octinoxate, which are believed to be harmful to coral reefs. WILL THIS PRODUCT LEAVE A WHITE CAST?Zinc Oxide is a white mineral and there is potential for the product to leave a white residue on the skin, across all skin tones however this may appear more pronounced on darker skin tones. We have taken measures to reduce this and enhance usability by using the least whitening grade of Zinc Oxide and adding a low level non-cosmetic tint to help balance this. This is not to colour match skin tone, but to offset the Zinc and aid blending into the skin.

What is the difference between INKEY’s Mineral SPF and PGA SPF? INKEY’s Mineral SPF uses a physical or inorganic non nano UV filter which reflects and scatters UV rays. It is pigmented to reduce whitening and leaves a matte finish to the skin. INKEY’s PGA Dewy SPF 30 uses organic chemical UV filters which is combined with an 8% Hydration Complex, including PGA, leaving the skin with a dewy finish.
