About this deal

I think the upgrade is worth the money because a build-up of moisture can be unhygienic and uncomfortable, especially on longer trips. What Do Users Think & Say About This Tent? Tent material : pale grey, pale green or red ( B3 breathable mesh 20D nylon fabric) / orange or green (B3 breathable mesh 210T polyester fabric) Most campers also note that the tent is a great value for the money, though it’s a bit heavier than some of the more expensive options on the market. You can get an upgraded version with a second vent, which I highly recommend you do. It will be worth it in the long run because you won’t end up having to buy a better-ventilated tent as you progress in your camping journey. Lightweight: The weight of the Cloud up 1 2 3 is about 2.65 lbs,3.1lbs and 4.0lbs, and is an optimal outdoor camping choice.

The ripstop nylon will resist tears in windy weather, and the 4000mm water-resistant rainfly will keep you dry in some of the foulest weather. The ventilation is a bit limited in this tent, with just a single vent in the sleeping compartment. I also don’t like the fact that the vestibule is so small, as it’s a lot less comfortable to sleep alongside your kit.The biggest difference is that the tent can be freestanding and has an awning. The seams are fully sealed coated with silicone. Equipped with a reinforced mast with aluminum stakes to cut the wind. High density mesh fabric keeps bugs out.

When it comes to weight, price and quality, you really can’t do much better than the Naturehike Cloud Up 2. However, the tent is definitely cramped inside. If you want something roomier but which is still this light, then get the Cloud Up 3P– or be prepared to spend a lot more. Design with snow skirt: It can make the tent comfortable when hiking in winter since it makes the tent more windproof, snowproof and tearproof, therefore it strengthens tent's stability and safety. The seams are not sealed, which can increase the risk of leaking in extended lousy weather. This is a shame in a tent of this price but due to the exceptional design, I’d still recommend it for cyclists. What’s unique about Naturehike is that the company’s tents offer an outstanding balance between price and quality. They aren’t the cheapest tents on the market but they are considerably more waterproof, more windproof, and lighter than their competitors.

Quick Look

The Naturehike Cloud Up is a freestanding 2-layer tent meant for 3-season use. It is available in 1P, 2P and 3P sizes. The FlyCreek UL2 claims to weigh just 1lb 15oz, but this is without the stakes and a ground sheet. The ground sheet (aka footprint) that they recommend costs nearly half as much as the Naturehike CloudUp 2 and weighs 5oz. That brings the total weight of the 2.9lbs. With 4000mm+ of water resistance and 50+ UV protection, this tent will take good care of you in the summer as well as the wet and windy months. For the price, I have yet to find a better two-person tent for the great outdoors. LIGHTWEIGHT - tipping the scales at 1670 grams (including pegs and poles) these are hardly the porkiest tents you'll pitch!!! Ideal for either lightweight hiking or as a cycling tent.

Closure: pale grey, pale green or red ( Nylon 20D/PU4000MM) / orange or green (Polyester 210T/PU3000MM) I would also prefer to hike with a lighter tent than this one, but I can’t reasonably complain about the weight considering the quality of the materials and the price. Pros & Cons Pros:

Can You Use the Cloud Up 2 in Winter?

Just be cautious before use in extended downpours, and make sure to spray the tent with an extra waterproof coating on a regular basis. As you can see from the photo above, the Cloud Up 1 has only 1 entrance and vestibule. Although the vestibule doesn’t leave huge amounts of space for gear storage, it looks perfectly adequate for 1 person on a relatively short trip. Snap verdict The rainfly can resist up to 4000mm of water, while the bathtub-style floor will help prevent any water from seeping up through the ground. So long as you respray the waterproof coating after each heavy rainfall and use the included tent footprint, this tent should last you for many camping trips in the great outdoors. The Cloud Up performs well in the wind, too. A combination of a strong frame, low peak height, and half-dome design will keep it standing if bad weather rolls in.

Weather Conditions:High humidity, low temperatures, and rainy conditions create the most condensation. Hi folks. Today on the blog we’re taking a look at the Naturehike Cloud Up Tent. I decided to set this tent up on a sunny day and take a peek at what it can do. Note that I haven’t had the chance to actually go on an overnight trip with this tent yet, so I can’t comment on how it holds up in the elements! But stay tuned for a full review once I’ve had the chance to try it. Let’s dive in and take a look! Overview & Specifications That being said, I disagree that this tent is suitable for 4 seasons. Despite what Naturehike says, I would recommend this tent only as a 3 season option because I don’t think the fabric is strong enough to withstand heavy snowfall. Ease of Set-Up There are some other differences, like that the CloudUp 2 uses seven clips instead of six, doesn’t have guylines attached to the tent body, and has 14 stakes instead of 11. More Vents on the Cloud Up 3. I never had condensation issues even with my old version of the Cloud Up 2, so this feature probably only matters if you are winter camping.Caution: Attempt to cook in this area only if you have a small stove that is nice and stable on flat ground and you’ ve opened both the side panels for ventilation and escape routes. Never leave a stove unattended in this area! The upgraded version has fixed many small issues with the first version, making this a really comfortable and reliable tent. I’d absolutely recommend it for two people, and you’ll have enough space to bring along your dog, too. Cloud Up 3p has a crossbar on top. This gives you a LOT more interior space because the walls don’t droop as much. You also get much more headroom. I love that this tent has two doors because it really does transform your camping experience if you are sharing your tent. It also has sealed seams to protect you from the rain; these seams aren’t always present in Naturehike tents. Floor mat material: pale grey, pale green or red ( 20D nylon fabric covered with silicone) / orange or green (150D Oxford fabric)
