I can have a Kawasaki zzrz400 performance sport. What are the best grips for my bike,thanks December 4, 2018 As there are only the two wires fitted direct to the battery, I just needed six cable ties (four were supplied) to keep everything tidy. Having watched the YouTube video, the instructions made sense and were easy to follow.
These will be fine. The end of the grips may need trimming to fit - the maximum uncut and cut lengths are shown on eachitem. The grips are not supplied with a specific model application list but are designed for 22mm handlebars and have lengths of123mm/114mm. Further to this they still have the battery-saving mode that sees the grips turn off automatically when the engine isn’t running. This is super-handy for forgetful people like me. If your bars are 22mm, these grips will fit. If the bars are 1 inch, the only Oxford grips that will fit are the Cruisergrips. September 12, 2017 Oxford has been selling its heated grips for a long time, and they’re proven extremely popular and effective for many thousands of users, from couriers to adventure riders. Heated grips are great additions to any bike, in fact, we think motorcycle manufacturers of adventure and touring models should include them as standard. If none are fitted, they are the first things that I add. My hands are very susceptible to the cold throughout the year, and if you’re touring in the Alps in the summer it’s not uncommon for temperatures at the top of passes to dip below freezing, so I do not consider heated grips to be a seasonal accessory. As a complete amateur when it comes to riding, fixing and modifying a bike, the process was more time-consuming for me than it would be for many.

The ends of the grips will require cutting for anyone with hand guards as they only have a hole for bar ends. Leaving the end in place will result in them not fitting correctly and will hinder throttle movement. They are easy enough to cut through. Be aware not to cut into the heating elements as you will ruin the grips, something that’s not highlighted in the instructions.
