This is information I've found from speaking to a couple of dealers and Audi UK. The prices vary a little between dealers but the range is about the same. It has the RMC MMI which has the nav maps on an SD card. I didn't realise until after I took delivery that the SD card was missing and therefore the navigation wouldn't work.

I would say on these more modern systems it can take a bit longer than the older systems to update maybe or it is an Audi thing. I spoke to the dealer and they have sent me a 'Europa 2013' SD card with a part number 8X0919884E. Obviously not the original card that came with the car. You should see cameras on your map and hear an audible alert when approaching a camera. Note that this can get annoying, and the process of turning the audible tone off is as follows:

Once your SD card is loaded with the files and bundle, it is time to load it up in the car. therefore plug it into the SD1 port, go to MENU, Setup MMI, System update, SD1, and Start update; as the files are tiny, this will take under a minute but depending on how big your maps file was initially, it could take longer as it is overlaying the points of interest to the sat nav already in place. It seems there is no way round this unlike the HDD and DVD nav database versions which don't have the same pairing/activation process with the central system. Applying Speed Camera locations to Maps Third generation MMI system including high resolution (400x240) 6.5” colour TFT display and two SD card readers (one of which If only Audi offered a map update service at a reasonable price - for me it should really be included in the price of the car (most good sat nav suppliers now give free lifetime map updates) and I don't understand why major manufacturers don't tie in with Garmin/Tom Tom/Google to provide the navigation with free map updates.This card doesn't work and shows a message 'Navigation data are not enabled'. Googling the message indicates the card needs 'activating' for the car. I plug my phone in ti the USB port and use the Android Auto (or Apple Play) which allows Google Maps. First-time poster here so apologies if I'm in the wrong place. You guys have this place pretty well divided up. Sending destinations to the car via my Audi App works great, and there are many more POI,s in the new maps.
