This cream contains 10% urea, which is an important natural moisturising substance made in the body.

Urea improves skin hydration by drawing water from the deeper dermal layers to the upper layers of the skin and keeping it there for longer. This effectively improves how much moisture the skin can hold. In a double-blind comparative study, 30 outpatients with bilateral anhidrosis applied a 10% urea cream to the right foot and a 25% urea cream to the left foot, twice daily.
