The Happy Plugs Air 1 ANC headphones connect to your listening device through Bluetooth 5.0, and we found that they retained a very good connection throughout testing. While many true wireless bugs at least skip every now and then, these didn’t seem to do so. This is a guide for both Air 1 Plus Earbud and Air 1 Plus In-Ear. Are you looking for Air 1, Air 1 Go or Air 1 ANC?

TYPE-C (USB-C) - The newest generation of chargers. Type-C is reliable and most important, they’re fast.Before using, make sure Air 1 is charged. Place them in the charge case for at least 15 minutes before first use. If you have connected Air 1 Plus to your phone or tablet before, go ahead and delete them now from the Bluetooth Settings. Also make sure the Air 1 Plus charging case has been charged for a couple of minutes.

If your device cannot find your Air 1 headphones, try repeating the steps above. If still not working, you might need to perform a factory reset.

Style over durability

The earbuds feature a rubber ear-tip design which I have found very comfortable to use. The ear-tips provide a secure fit in the ear and the lightweight design of the earbuds also makes them comfortable to use for long periods, I also found the shape of the earbuds to be good and I did not find them uncomfortable to wear. The ear-tips offer a good amount of passive isolation from the environment around you and there are also five alternative ear-tip sizes included in the box. The earbuds are comfortable to wear and offer good passive sound isolation. The bottom of the case features a repairing button, USB Type-C charging port and four LED indicator lights which can show both the charging status of the case and light up when the earbuds themselves are charging. Sound Quality The high-end response is perhaps the worst thing about these earbuds, but it’s still not necessarily bad. You’ll get decent high response, and while we would have appreciated more high extension, and a boost in highs in general, but cymbals are still present enough and vocal sibilance is there.

Place the earbuds in the charging case. Press and hold both touch control areas for ten (10) seconds. Both LED-lights will flash three (3) times. The charging case is also well-designed. The case color matches the color of the buds, and has a USB-C port on the bottom, with LED lights to indicate battery level, and a button for re-pairing the device. You’ll also get a charging cable and an impressive six pairs of ear tips, including the tips that come pre-installed on the ear buds. I found that the default tips worked fine, but it’s nice to see that there are other options included. ComfortSBC AUDIO CODEC - SBC, or low-complexity subband codec, is an audio subband codec. SBC is a digital audio encoder and decoder used to transfer data to Bluetooth audio output devices like headphones or loudspeakers. SBC supports mono and stereo streams, certain sampling frequencies up to 48 kHz. The codec does not have bitrate limitations. The headphone LED-lights will show a solid light when charging. If not, the charge case itself might need charging via the included Micro-USB cable.
