About this deal

Believe me is the devastatingly romantic fifth novella in the New York Times and USA Today bestselling SHATTER ME series, chronicling the events after IMAGINE ME, the explosive sixth novel." Esta autora no agrega más trama a los acontecimientos del último libro. Solo nos da la boda de Warner y Juliette, que madre de Dios. Era todo lo que está bien en esta vida, todo... ABSOLUTAMENTE TODO. Y además nos dio dos escenas spicy que me hizo feliz, fui feliz. This ends the original Shatter Me trilogy, but Mafi wrote three more novels 4 years after the completion of the first trilogy. I'm not even going to try to get into the whole Anderson / Juliette thing in the book, that was just way too weird, and boils my blood every time I think about it.

i’m sad to say that i’m now done with the shatter me series but it will always be my comfort series 🤧💘 What was all that for? What were the 6 books + 4 novellas for if not a wedding between two people who have madly been in love since their childhood so they can finally tie the knot and enjoy their fresh start in a relationship of TRUST and RESPECT? But nope, Mafi decided that she had to add some dramatic crap for the sake of angst. WarnerJuliette (or AaronElla whatever) is the kind of couple readers are supposed to love because their bond is incredibly strong, and they see each other as an equal. But of course, Miss Juliette Ferrars decided to, as the great partner she is, to HIDE that the wedding was postponed (by her wish) to Warner aka her FUTURE HUSBAND and the groom, not to mention for a stupid reason. But that's not all, Juliette literally went on to tell everyone of the Sanctuary about the decision but the groom. And yes, it was Sam's wife (whatever her name is) who told Warner about Juliette's wish. Does that look like mutual respect to you? And all of that is for what? For the wedding? What wedding? i knew he’d be close to crying when he saw juliette walking down the aisle. and this novella confirmed that kenji and warner are besties🥺 After finishing Restore Me anyone with a little observation would realise it means restore my identity, aka Juliette learning that her parents are Supreme Commanders and her name is Ella. I mean it's so obvious I just can't understand who wouldn't see it 😐 I also loved those adorable moments between Aaron and dog. They were so cute and that dog was definitely a fan of Aaron.juliette and warner. my otp. my forever favorite couple. we got the closure in believe me that we all wanted to get in imagine me. it was the perfect ending for this series and i couldn’t be more happier or sad to have read this book. I thought it was a spicy and happy novella and the one spicy scene of Warnette was 🤌🔥 god I was waiting for that scene for eternity and that man served it damn perfectly!! I would happily watch the world go up in flames if anything happened to her, and if that's not enough for you, you can go to hell." This novella was really cute and beautiful and adorable and perfect. I wanted to see Warnette's wedding in the end which yeah Tahereh didn't gave us any scene of the finaly wedding scene. I wanted to see the first look on Aaron's face when Julliete was standing im front of him in her wedding gown and I wanted to see their kiss and the scene where they read their vows. They deserve that ending and we deserve that too. 😭💗😭 Then out of all things, I found it UTTERLY DISGUSTING that he let her sleep in his bed. I mean, why don’t we put a beautiful, innocent, helpless girl on a crazy, psycho, lonely-man’s bed, why don’t we? 😅 LIKE WHAT ARE WE DOING? WHY IS SHE ON HIS BED? THAT’S NASTY WITH A CAPITAL NASTY. I swear, my mind was like, if he dares get in that bed with her and does something vile, I was going to go LIVID. This was not that type of book, I swear, I couldn’t. And thank goodness, Anderson had some morality left in that bleached brain of his because my gosh, I swear!!!!

Shatter Me was Mafi’s debut novel and was published when she was only 23 years old. The original trilogy went on to be translated into more than 30 languages and sell more than a million copies.

Take Me With You When You Go…

It's really hard being in Warner's head, not because it's irritating (ok, sometimes it is) but because he has so much going on in there. Like the doubts and anxiety was really relatable and I felt very bad for him. You all insult him over and over again and he just takes it—he doesn’t even say anything—and somehow you’ve convinced yourselves it’s okay. Why? He’s a real, flesh-and-blood person. Why don’t you care? Why don’t you think he has feelings? What the hell is wrong with you?”

Maybe this could've redeemed Warner and Juliette for me, but they were apart for literally the WHOLE BOOK. And Warner was a psychopath when Juliette was kidnapped, which didn't help at all, because I HATE when that happens. I wanted them both to shut up so badly. Tahereh Mafi’s Shatter Me series has sold more than a million books. It’s a YA dystopian series centering around a girl named Juliette. Juliette has a very unique power in that anyone she touches dies. The epilogue was cute and Warnette finally getting married was what I needed in the end 💞😌 and the scene where Aaron held the dog was adorable 😭💗 SPOILERS FOR THE SHATTER ME SERIES. If you haven't read the entire series, don't read this review 🚨 Kenji carried this book. No, he carried this entire trilogy. He's so kind, caring, funny, and trying to make light of dark moments but Warner has to be all moody and brooding and threatening to kill him literally any chance he got. Kenji cares so much about Juliette (don't ask me why, I've got no idea) and he risked his life to save her, which I admire. I will forever be a Kenji lover. I need a Kenji and Nazeera spin off.The air, puncturing at random. Trees, sinking into the ground. Leaves, tap-dancing around me. I’m seeing it–I’m actively witnessing it—and I still can’t believe it.” (pg. 26) But I also can't feel bad for him when he's incredibly rude to everyone except Juliette, including my baby Kenji. If anyone harms him, I hate them. This series, in my opinion, just went downhill ever since Restore Me. I've said this many many times, but it seriously should've just ended at Ignite Me, which is still the best book in the series. I should have not continued the series as soon as I read book 4 and did not enjoy it. I was not pleased with the ending of the first trilogy and so I was happy to see we were getting an extension and boy, I was wrong. My feelings whenever I saw the books of the first trilogy drifted toward the positive side but whenever I see the new books, I just have all kind of negative emotions.
