My son loves his pencil topper! No more chewed up pencil erasers for us. This was the perfect solution! Chewing can be a very effective way to help calm, self-regulate, and improve focus. Chewberz Oral Motor Tools fit on the top of most standard writing instruments and offer a safe alternitive to chewing on the ends of pens and pencils. They will be great for many adults and children, but particualrly those with additional needs such as stress, anxiety, Asperger's, Autism and ADHD. Usually we recommend going with the softest/standard level by default. Unless someone chews through or causes damage to anything else they chew on (chews through pencils, chews holes in shirts, etc.), in which case the XT level would be longer lasting. My daughter would chew her pencils and shirt sleeves and I was almost at a loss on how to let her chew but not ruin her teeth or clothes. Best practice is to use with eraser-less pencils (each topper comes with its own eraser-less pencil) Choose your option from the menu above.
