Note: you could possibly add a coat of Mod Podge once you’ve finished painting to protect the surface from chipping. However, I didn’t feel this was necessary for my pumpkins. I was also worried that running a wet paint brush of Mod Podge over the painted surface would smear the paint and didn’t want to risk it.
