The Chief, Lundy Lake, California, 1:49 P.M., 13 October 2023 Canon EOS R6II, RF 24-240mm IS USM at 55mm, f/8 at 1/160 at Auto ISO 100, -0.7 stops exposure compensation ( LV 13.4), Skylum Luminar Neo. More tech details. bigger or fit-to-screen. This is from my EOS R6 Users Guide. Some menu locations might be a little different in the EOS R6 MarkII; I'll update this when my R6 MarkII arrives. ISO 102,400 gets a little blotchier and grainier, and ISO 204,800 (H) gets much more blotchier and grainier, but it's still usable if I need it in a pinch for normal-sized images. After many years of using multiple LP-E6 batteries with Canon 7D, 6D, 5D Mark III and 5D Mark IV bodies, some of them are showing a single red "recharge performance" bar in the battery info tab.

If these are about 12" (30cm) wide on your screen, the complete images would print at 80×120" (2×3 meters) at this same insanely high magnification. I like the green ONE SHOT AF boxes, but the blue SERVO AF boxes are a little weird. To me; green means go, not blue. Obviously Canon wants people to know whether or not they're in ONE SHOT or SERVO without having to look away from the picture. Also compatible with the new LP-E6NH Canon battery is the LC-E6 charger, which was originally designed for the LP-E6 battery, and can safely charge all three versions. If you shoot raw data rather than JPG images, whatever software you use to create visible images from raw data may or may not correct the distortion as is done in-camera as JPGs. You're on your own there; I don't bother with raw data. It's normal for details to go away at higher ISOs in all digital cameras. Our eyes work the same way in low light.

Canon says it should work with any of the new included LP‑E6NH, the LP‑E6N or even the ancient LP‑E6 batteries, although I don't know if it will charge in-camera with Canon's LP‑E6N or LP‑E6; I haven't tried.I prefer the rear 4-way controllers of the EOSR and EOSRP; on the R6 I haven't quite gotten comfortable with having to swap my thumb between the multiway nubbin and the big rear wheel. Canon's EOS-R system's menu system and in-hand-feel and overall ergonomics are way superior to anything from Fuji, Sony or Nikon. No automatic brightness control for the rear LCD, but I set my C2 mode to full brightness for outdoor shooting so it's not a problem. Neither Nikon nor Sony can do this at all, but Canons can show you live RGB histograms in Live View. You have the choice of the silly "Rotate Tall" mode which fits verticals into the horizontal frame, but doesn't rotate as the camera is turned, so I don't use it; I just have to turn the camera to see verticals full-screen.
