The Mamia Ultra Dry Air System™ Nappy Pants range has been specially designed for your on-the-go toddler. Although convenient and absorbent, disposables have their downsides. Most of them contain bleaching agents, dyes, latex, and other plastics. All nappies are tested before they go on sale, so although the materials are not harmful, if your baby has sensitive skin or allergies, there is a small chance of a reaction to the chemicals they contain. In many cases, swapping to a different brand will help avoid this issue. The tear away sides make them easy to take off in the morning, without having to take his pj bottoms off. They also make it easy to clear up any accidents. We go with Aldi nappies every time! I used them from newborn to size 6+ with my son, and am now using them again with my daughter. They are great value for money and, in my opinion, are better than some of the more expensive brands.”
Georgina: I would and do recommend these to other mums. The value for money based on price per nappy is unbeatable. They easily last 12 hours for night time sleep without leaking and can even contain a morning poo on top of that. The nappies have a cute design and are clearly marked with the size which is handy if you have multiple children in different size nappies. In summary – bargain price, great capacity, no strange smells and no leaks – PERFECT! Would you choose this product above all others on the market?They are too slim fitting across the bottom as you can see in the photos, so they are almost like thongs (even on my tall skinny 12kg toddler who wears age 4-5 years height clothes). This means that poo always leaks out the sides, onto clothes and soiling them.
Gail: I have no hesitation to say that yes I would choose this product above all others on the market and yes I do think this product should win! It is of no lesser quality than other brands on the market which cost much more. It is definitely the price which makes this product stand out. With 2 young children and being on maternity leave, the cost of things is obviously very important to me, but I would be foolish to pay more for other brands when this one performs just as well as them, if not better than some. If you use Mamia, what other brands do you use?I haven’t actually used Aldi Mamia nappy pants before. My go to for my toddler is pampers or huggies pull ups at nighttime. Would you consider changing from your current brand of nappies to Aldi Mamia and why? Yes I would as it is worth the change and price. These cheap nappies have performed brilliantly in our lab and parent user tests, showing that you don’t have to spend a lot to get a decent nappy. Not only do they provide good absorption, the parents who used them found that there were few issues with leakage or irritation for their baby.' They are not very absorbent, but this isn't an issue if you are potty training, only if you are using them in advance of that stage. They are not absorbent enough to use overnight. Maybe a different design for older kids so they don't feel as babyish as their little sibling in nappies
