About this deal

Poor Miko. Manga’s most supernaturally besieged heroine and her oblivious friend return for another round, but with much less protection than they had previously. Much, much less.

Mieruko-Chain can see the dead. She just chooses to ignore them. She doesn't want them knowing that she can see them. Mostly because she doesn't want them following her around everywhere. But when she goes to school and notices a lot of spirits following her best friend around she tries to find a solution to stop them from showing up so much. Hence we get plenty of funny situations and a rather sad and tender moment by the very end that made me want to read more.

with its episodic nature. For example, chapter 4 + 4.5 melted my heart. While he characters and plot were predictable, the execution through pacing and art made it brilliant. This is one of the easier going images from the first book. In other words, expect an emphasis on the horror side of this horror comedy) Then there’s the last story, which takes what was done before this and uses it in a unique and genuinely surprising way. It continues the vein of discomfort but also injects some warmth and drama into it that I appreciated, while still being amusing. If the book maintains that vibe it’ll do okay. SPY × FAMILY, Kusuriya no Hitorigoto Win Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Award 2019". Anime News Network. August 22, 2019 . Retrieved November 26, 2021.

I think here is where the series starts to move past its funny/creepy premise and really begin to develop Miko as a character in control of her own future. Starting to learn about the depth of her abilities is a very good thing. And is that a possible villain introduction here? The manga takes aspects of yokai lore, combines it with very creative visuals to create very unique monstrosities with A LOT of attention to detail. this isn't the first time that the series considers its subject matter like this, there are a couple moments in it's establishing chapters that do bring in moments of melancholy tenderness, but this is the first time that the series really brings into focus like this. So, what about the story? What makes it so great? I'll try to be as generic as I can to avoid spoiling anything. Initially, the story begins with the main character starting to experience paranormal activities and acting accordingly to make them stop, but as time goes on the focus shifts more on the characters growth and it makes it so that you can relate to them on what they're feeling and thinking in almost every situation. To put it simply, reading this manga feels like reading about a person trying to overcome a mental illness through a journey full of hardships and to me this is marvellous and a bit poetic. An anime television series adaptation was announced on March 18, 2021. The series is animated by Passione and directed by Yuki Ogawa, with Takahiro Majima serving as assistant director, Shintarō Matsushima serving as directing assistant, Kenta Ihara supervising and writing the series' scripts, Chikashi Kadekaru designing the characters and serving as chief animation director, and Makoto Uno designing the monsters. Kana Utatane composed the music for the series. Sora Amamiya performed the opening theme "Mienai Kara ne!?" ( 見えないからね!?, "I Can't See Them, Okay!?"), as well as the ending theme "Mita na? Mita yo ne?? Miteru yo ne???" ( ミタナ?ミタヨネ??ミテルヨネ???, "You Saw Me? You Saw Me, Right?? You're Seeing Me Right Now, Right???"). [28] The series aired from October 3 to December 19, 2021 on AT-X, Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, SUN, and BS NTV. [1] [2] [29] Funimation licensed the series outside of Asia. [30] Muse Communication licensed the series in South and Southeast Asia. [31] As always, things go from perfectly fine to perfectly horrific at the drop of a hat and the creep factor is as creative as it ever was. This is certainly one of the most effective PSAs against movie piracy I’ve ever seen and they sure do manage to make a family restaurant the most disgusting place on earth. Mieruko-chan is one of a kind. A manga that shines brighter than most manga. It’s what we would call an hidden gem. It’s something you didn’t know you needed but were still looking for. First of all, let’s be clear that what I sad applies for horror fans. This is a love letter to all of us, bored with all of those what-so-called horror books, those that they never leave an impression to you, and you just give up on the genre. Ladies and Gentlmen, Mieruko-chan gave to all of us readers hope. So yeah, without further distractions, let’s get into it and see what’s The second is the power and the energy of monster designs. It’s hard to stress this enough, since commending monster designs in so par of the course with manga, I myself do it for many other works, but the monsters here are genuinely one of the best in the medium. The main qualities that distinguish them are:
