The Unmade are very hard to pin down, with a suite of unpredictable and deadly abilities that can make even the lowliest Awakened One (the little guys with spears and whips) a surprisingly dangerous combatant. They’re TERRIFYING The sage continues: “ Those who enter through the first gate value power above all. They seek to join the warbands that will lead them to the most victories in battle. All the warriors that have entered through this gate yearn to discover the battle discipline that speaks to their soul, and their warrior hearts will truly be tested in the dungeons of Warcry.” Flesh-mend ( Double, Master Moulder): Heal up to 3 Wounds to a nearby fighter with the Beast runemark (Rat Ogor or Giant Rat, but also the Thralls Razorgor or Chaos Warhound). The Dragon Ogor Shaggoth is a separate fighter but his stats are really similar to the Dragon Ogor with Draconic Crusher. What he adds to the fray is his ability to heal all other Dragon Ogors around him and of course that he is a leader allowing you to field an entire Dragon Ogor warband if you so wish. The Chaos Lord on Daemonic Mount is a strong mounted leader in between the Doom Knight and the Chaos Lord on Karkadrak.

The leader, the Bringer of the Word, the model armed with a book, compares with the Plague Priest: for less points the combat profile is similar decreasing only the range (1″) and the Wounds (12). The Signifer has solid damage output, Toughness and Wounds, but if you want him in your warband, it should be because of his main function, which is to use his unique Triple ability, Stand Defiant. This allows you to add 1 to the Toughness characteristic of your fighters within 6″ of him, making the entire warband extremely resilient to anything than critical hits. In the short story The Harrower in the Warcry Anthology, the newly appointed Blissful One Gravskein leads her warband of Unmade on a vision quest given to her in dreams by the Flayed King, the ancestor/Chaos aspect of the Unmade.The Ossiarch Bonereapers: Another relatively new army, and these bone-collecting expeditionary undead legions are a big part of Age of Sigmar lore right now. Their combined arms playstyle can make them expensive to collect, but they’re a balanced force that just looks amazing, and nothing like any other warband, on the battlefield.

Inspiring Presence enables you to sneak in activations before the enemy if the activated model is near your Leader. While it’s not as flashy as Vessel of Torment or Flaying Frenzy, it’s better than the Ogor Breacher on 3 remaining wounds killing an Ascended One that probably could have killed it first. The Clearblood is the most basic fighter of the Splintered Fang warband, and it’s really not remarkable in any way: Strength, Toughness and critical damage don’t go higher than 3.They are absolutely insane and easily one of the more grimdark inventions of the Age of Sigmar era from Games Workshop.

With a similar ranged profile to the other leaders, he distinguishes himself in melee with Strength 5 for 2/5 damage. Dice Spread Thin –Your abilities are all amazing and all necessary to push ahead, which means you will be utterly reliant on good rolls at the start of each round. Be cautious with those Wild Dice… you will need them. This kit comprises 59 plastic components, and comes supplied with 4x Citadel 25mm Round Bases, 3x Citadel 28.5mm Round Bases, 1x Citadel 32mm Round Base, and 1x Citadel 40mm Round Base. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints. Low Sweeping Blow (Double, Mindbound with Double-bladed Sword and Mirrorblade with Glaive): A chance to do up to 12 damage to all enemies within 2″ depending on 2 dice roll and the ability’s value.Gravskein is in constant pain from all her missing limbs and the terrors of the Bloodwind Spoil, but it fuels her and her warband and makes them stronger. The dedicated Warcry Chaos Warbands: While they’re often not that competitive, the original Chaos warbands for Warcry are full of memorable fighter types: The Iron Golem’s Ogor Breacher is an unstoppable bulldozer with hammers and maces for hands; The First Fang of the Untamed Beasts has a harpoon that can pull an enemy towards him; The Unmade are built around an absolutely bonkers Leader with stilts for legs and hooks for hands that can slice any enemy apart, and so on and so on. These warbands are designed to embody the over-the-top, fast-paced combat system of Warcry, and it’s always cool to watch that play out in the game. The basic Ungor with Ungor Blade and Half-Shield is a weaker version of the shield-carrying Gor with less wounds for a cheaper price if you are short in points. What it does have is a great human-hand-grenade-style ability, the Triple Flaying Frenzy, which lets you roll a dice for each enemy within 3 inches of the Joyous One, and then do 1 damage for each roll of 3-4 or damage equal to the value of the Triple roll on a 5-6.
