Saul Goodman makes an impressive first showing in Breaking Bad. In the space of two minutes, he goes from doomed kidnapping victim to Walter White's personal lawyer. He does this by recognizing Walter and then talking him into a client relationship. He starts this by asking Walt for a single dollar as a retainer, giving their conversation attorney-client privilege.
Breaking Bad has become a cultural icon that's already been referenced by more contemporary series. It also has no shame in its own homages to classic pieces of cinema. There's a strong affection for Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather, which gets explicitly referenced by characters like Saul, but it also receives more hidden nods.Images (126) El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie [1] (simply known as El Camino) is a television film sequel to Breaking Bad written, directed, and executive produced by Vince Gilligan and starring Aaron Paul, as part of Gilligan's overall deal with Sony Pictures Television.
El Camino debuted on Netflix and in select movie theaters in October 2019. The movie was secretly shot with Aaron Paul in Albuquerque, New Mexico a year earlier. Fabian only learnt the nature of Howard’s end in the scripts with the rest of the cast, saying it was co-star Seehorn who called him when the episode dropped for the actors to read. Walter, Jesse, Mike, Ramey, and Ed are the only five characters who appear in Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and El Camino.
He said Howard was murdered by Lalo simply for being “in the way” and “a problem” to be dealt with.
