As months went on, some clients started bringing it with them to the salon to have their hair braided after applying it. That is when I managed to see, feel and even smell Chebe for the first time. These clients also told us of the amazing results that they were getting since thy started using it and that aroused my interest even more. Their hair looked super healthy. Although some of the hair was quite tangled and I blame that on how they were applying it to their hair, all in all, the Chebe powdered hair looked strong and healthy. I had to try this Chebe powder thing. And I did. It can also be used concurrently with chebe powder like the women in Chad do it, applying water, then the karkar oil and lastly chebe powder and that is repeated until the section is saturated with the oil and chebe powder before putting it into a tight braid. This process is quite messy and may leave the chebe powder showing so much on the hair. You can either wear a wig or a wrap/doek to cover the hair. The process can then be repeated after every 5 days without washing the hair. This I failed to do though because I always wash my hair weekly. However, it turns out there are some other women in Chad who do wash their hair monthly and that at least I could manage. Karkar and Chebe Powder mix KarKar oil can be used in a variety of ways to enhance the health and appearance of the skin. Here are some ways to use KarKar oil for skin: 1. Add the karkar oil to the mixture and stir well. Massage the mixture gently all over your scalp for ten minutes On the other hand, honey which is an ingredient in making karkar oil, is a natural humectant, which means, it attracts moisture from the air to your hair to keep it well moisturised and conditioned. Karkar oil is a combination of different ingredients which come from Chad in Africa. It has been used by women in Chad and Sudan who are said to have the longest hair in Africa. This is in spite of the fact that hair in northern Africa is usually more dry and brittle than hair from other regions. KarKar oil can be used as a hair mask to nourish and strengthen the hair. To make a hair mask, mix a few drops of KarKar oil with your regular conditioner and apply to the hair. Leave the mask on for at least 30 minutes before rinsing off with warm water. 2. Hot Oil TreatmentKarKar oil is rich in antioxidants, which can help to reduce the signs of aging on the skin. To use KarKar oil as an anti-aging treatment, mix a few drops of oil with your regular moisturizer and apply to the skin daily. 3. Acne Treatment I am sure I have not exhausted all the ways in which one can include karkar oil to their hair regimen for hair growth.
