Cyberpunk 2077 has been subject to quite a bit of criticism for its complicated launch issues. However, those with enough patience to endure the bugs can enjoy the brutal combat system with amazingly unique weapons.

Of course, sitting comfortably in front of a monitor, there is no way to experience the real inconveniences of sniper missions. This can include having to lie motionless for hours in one place, often in harsh conditions – snow, mud, sand, mosquitoes... you name it. You don't have to be a master of camouflage, which even the best shooters can have trouble with, and most importantly, you don't need to be able to make complicated calculations of scope settings depending on wind strength, distance, temperature and many other factors. Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 was launched in 2017 on the Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. It is an open-world game that struggled at launch due to several bugs and glitches that plagued the game. Thanks to some patchwork from the developers, Ghost Warrior 3 is a better experience now. Another example of a good sniper game. After all, the games share the same menus, continue story threads, and the maps from subsequent sequels only increase in size. Semi-open maps have been designed for this type of gameplay, bringing both sniper nests for clearing enemy camps from a distance and detailed building interiors. Developed by the same team behind the Star Wars: Battlefront series, Battlefield 5 is a stunning first-person shooter set during the Second World War. The single-player mode is one of the best in the series. But as always, the depth is found in the multiplayer. Launched in 2021, Far Cry 6 was criticized for being more of the same, but in many ways, it was a culmination of Far Cry's best bits into one game. It dropped many irritating aspects and streamlined them into a more rewarding experience.Well, it could be. I wouldn't know. I gave up fairly soon, because I just couldn't, COULD NOT stand the stupidity. Sorry, Sgt. Mills, but you are obviously a blood-thirsty idiot and embodiment of all the bad clichés the average civilian has about soldiers - that they are in it for the killing, for the blood, because they think that war is fun.

We all saw it at once. Half a dozen voices screamed 'Grenade!' simultaneously. Then everything went into slow motion . . .' I found the book to be an excellent read, that was honest and with no filtering. When your job after years and years of training, is to really in the end to kill people, I do begin to understand how important the training and discipline to reach that goal is, and I suspect it is what keeps them sane. You do get a glimpse in the end how the soldiers returning from conflicts such as this survive by turning it off afterward. Knowing UK though, I am surprised how they could return to such a controlling country without loosing it. I'm a massive fan of war memoirs - the kind popularised by Andy McNab and Chris Ryan in recent years - so when I saw the hype surrounding this book, I had to give it a go. They were kept very active by the local population - being involved in the longest fire fight British troops had been party to for over 50 years. What makes up for these flaws is the immense freedom, as the sniper missions here look just the way we want them to. You can start by traveling to the designated area by helicopter, ATV or boat, and then continue on foot in search of a convenient observation point. The game world is teeming with civilians – so be sure to accurately identify your victim before pulling the trigger. When playing solo, we are always accompanied by three teammates, so you can take advantage of synchronized shooting. For dessert, there are also very large customization options of your commando to resemble the snipers of real units or movie characters, although a larger selection of rifles would not go amiss.
