Kaweco Supra Fountain Pen - Fireblue | The Hamilton Pen Company

Personally I think fireblu only looks acceptable when used in small amounts. It looks just plain ugly when it is pasted on a wall. Whilst I'm most definitely not saying that zscript is anything other than great, I feel that many people who don't have enough of a programmers head on their shoulders will find zscript too techy to be their goto modding tool. Take Nash's "minimal coding" example here: The Kaweco Supra Fireblue is made of blue stainless steel and is a real eye-catcher. It is produced from high-quality stainless steel and is 'blued' by hand, which makes every item individual. All this talk of screwing and unscrewing the parts of the pen puts me in mind of Christopher Lee assembling his pistol out of a cigarette lighter, fountain pen and other bits and bobs in The Man With The Golden Gun.

Holly, Kaweco will respond to your questions. For mine, it took a couple of days for the answers to appear.. On the flip-side, of course, I'm sure that people who are happy with coding are going to do some truly amazing things with zscript. I personally don't like it that much, blue fire? doesn't make much sense to me, but, what can I do? It's a texture, and I respect the people who like it. Support for many vanilla doom wads, allowing every favorite wad to be a completely colorful experience!

Because the shorter Supra is a mini-fountain pen, it’s designed to be used posted. So here is the shorter Supra posted, next to the Liliputs. That brass object at the bottom is the Supra’s extension tube. Kaweco are one of our more recent additions here at Pure Pens. Established in 1883 by founders Luce and Ensslen, the Heidelberger Federhalterfabrik (dip pen factory) began manufacturing dip pens. Around this time, they also began importing fountain pens and gold nibs from Morton, New York. In the ensuing 125 years, the company continued to grow and today stand as one of Europe's premier fountain pen producers. Known for their robust and high-end build specifications, a Kaweco pen will be a long-lasting addition to any fountain pen fan's collection. With the Supra or Liliput you post by screwing the cap onto screw threads at the end of the pen, which is very secure. I did note that the screw threads seem to be longer than normal. It takes about three turns to post the Supra or Liliput, and almost four turns to cap or uncap either model. Why? The weight of the Supra comes from the brass material of the entire pen, so the Supra’s weight is distributed evenly. For me, that made the heavier Supra more comfortable than some resin pens that weigh less but have most of the weight concentrated in either a brass piston at the top or a metal section. Better balance is better. The finishing and construction overall feels great, a precision product. All the sections fit together well, seamless joins are really seamless, weight and balance are good (if you like metal pens).

Kaweco Liliput - super tiny pocket pens! | Cult Pens

The Kaweco Liliput takes compact design to the next level. The sleek barrel accentuates the modern simplicity of this pen, which features a robust all metal construction and superior attention to detail condensed into a small-scale portable writing instrument. Despite its diminutive size the Liliput is a giant among pens. Key Features The Projects forums are only for projects. If you are asking questions about a project, either find that project's thread, or start a thread in the General section instead. This is the interesting part of the story... blue coloring by annealing is well known to all the watch aficionados out there. Parts of the movement or the hands of the watch are blued by heating. Different temperatures resulting in different colors of the workpiece. And exactly this is how it works with the Liliput: In the process of annealing heat is applied for each Fireblue piece individually by manual labor. In color matching caps, bodies and sections are put together afterwards so every single Liliput Fireblue is one of a kind. Sharp is a good word to use, actually, because there are a few edges to catch the finger. With the extension tube inserted, there’s a step midway down the barrel, and the step up from the section is a bit edgy too. Being one of Kawecos oldest pen ranges. The Liliput range of pens have continued to impress and facinate writers since 1908. Originally being made of hard rubber, the Kaweco Liliput range of pens only consist of 3 main housing parts: The cap, barrel and handle. Nowadays, these pens are now made of high-quality, aluminium metal. Resulting in a pen with a little bit of weight, making for a more comfortable writing experience to the user.

I know that this is a bit of a zombie post, but I would recommend adding something about how different cleaning materials might react with different pen materials (ammonia, isopropol alcohol, etc). There is hope, yay! The Precious Heat is much much better than the Ordinary Heat, and it can be applied only to hand-crafted items made of Precious Steel, sourced from the core of a male unicorn's horn. Excellent nibs, the tiny size and sturdy metal construction combine to make these Liliputs the best portable fountain pen I’ve ever used. I’d love to have one to carry around. If I were at my desk I probably wouldn’t choose the Liliput to draft a long document; it’s a little thin for extended writing, for me. But horses for courses. ive heard that people think that FIREBLU is one of the ugliest textures in doom, i dont see why though, as long as it isnt used too much in one spot its a beautiful texture.

The future generations would be so grateful, sirgilbert They would surely endow you with an annealed cenotaph. They would stop giving Oscars, which would be replaced with meticulously lacquered Gilberts. Aesthetics are subjective, but I think the Supra is beautiful. Extended it’s nicely proportioned, and the larger nib size balances the size of the pen. The sleek shape is enhanced by the understated markings.

About Kaweco Supra Fountain Pen - Fireblue

The Supra has a screw-in metal extension to make the pen longer, which can be removed if you want a shorter pen. In the above photo, the Supra is full-size with the extension between the section and the rest of the pen body. Sorry! I meant the Chinese pen maker's lacquer pen with the butterflies and inlays from the previous link. tinta - I know what you mean. I would rather have the copper one than the plain stainless (silver) one, but I am afraid that no matter what, a Liliput of some sort is going to find its way to me! art of the day art supplies ask the desk bag blue ink calendar decor desk desk accessory digital DIY eye candy fashionable friday field notes fountain pen giveaway green ink ink inkmas ink review iphone link Link Love misc mobile office moleskine news notebook office paper pen pencil penmanship photo of the day planner podcast post and letter-writing Purple ink review stationery tool typewriter video vintage workspace Most Popular Posts I’m laughing, because I saw your Supra and thought, “What?
