Yo, this smells like the salty, seaweed, fish skeleton air at the beach with a little rose thrown in for good measure lol Missed opportunity! they should of and made this a sea salt vanilla fragrance! I personally would of added sea salt, plumeria and orchid notes :P oh well,..I'll be buying this anyway! The bottle is gorgeous and my inner Pisces really digs the whimsical mermaid designLike everyone else, I was drawn to this by the adorable bottle. Unfortunately the fragrance itself is pretty disappointing. At first I got that strong alcohol smell, you know the one, and then just nothing. No scent whatsoever after T+10min. After T+20min, there is a hint of fruits, but it is so faint I couldn't really say what exactly. Nothing super pleasant, pretty generic. Unfortunately, I can't detect anything from this but the cheapest toilet freshener. The kind my father would spray everyday and it would stink up the place more than anything he could have produced. So I guess it is nostalgic in a way, but I truly despise it. Edit: after one more trying I like it lol. I get something from my childhood from it, smells very nostalgic. My above-mentioned opinion stays the same but I decided to leave it in my collection. I don't love this but I don't hate it. It's definitely unique; It doesn't smell like any of my other citrus fragrances. It smells "darker" and spicier than the bottle suggests. I'm surprised to see people describing it as "aquatic," because I don't smell that at all. The opening is mostly bitter orange, with some cardamom, which I think is a little off-putting to me; it has a bit of a licorice scent, but that note doesn't radiate far. There's also a slight metallic note I think I've seen others mention. I know this sounds mostly negative, but I don't hate it...it's just kind of weird.

The scent itself is a bit underwhelming; it reminds me of Hawaiian Tropic body spray and doesn't last very long. It's a nice, fresh and fun tropical fruit scent - just not for me. Yesterday, I was in the mood for this, I sprayed it on my wrist. The opening was the same as the time I bought it.Perfect little gem after a hot summer day spent at the beach, and you have had a shower and are on your way out. It's fresh, clean, airy and light. It's not sweet at all. Any florals in it are used to soften, not sweeten.
