Root protection - a coir mulch layer increases soil temperature to protect the plant base and adds structure to strengthen root systems. We rarely ever go to that side of the house, since the sidewalk leads to our neighbor’s front door. But I have been peeking my head over there when I get the mail to see how the pea gravel has been holding up. For the most part, it looks great! But I did notice a bit of gravel getting onto the sidewalk, particularly in the front area before their door. I don’t want our gravel to create a mess for our neighbors, so I figured this was a good project to try out! Supplies to Grab When this doesn’t happen – for example in cold conditions or if you have applied too much Easihold and the stones are over saturated; the crosslinking process will not occur, and the final result will be compromised

On this project, there’s an old concrete base beneath. It’s in less-than-brilliant condition, but it’s suitable as a base for a bound aggregate. Step 4: Apply the mulch glue. This is usually done with a garden sprayer. Be sure to cover the mulch evenly, but don’t saturate it.

The Vuba Mulch Glue offers a great solution for securely binding gravel, stones, mulch, and bark together without the use of toxic materials. With this solution, you can easily fix loose stones with a strong bond that lasts at least 48 hours. The next step is to apply the EasiHold, but those stepping stone flags and the ground-level light fittings need to be masked off to prevent the EasiHold Resin covering their upper surface. Protects Stones - Easihold coats and protects stones, leaving an attractive protective silk sheen which helps prevents staining over time. You can buy suitable stones in most DIY shops, but we have our own range of fantastic 4 to 6mm decorative stones for use with Easihold.

We wouldn't recommend to jet wash, that would be quite a lot of pressure directly on to the stones. But can clean with warm water. Easihold will bond slate chippings, but because of their size, it would only be suitable for decorative purposes - we wouldn't recommend walking over. And since it’s called mulch glue, I’d have to imagine that it works even better on actual mulch! The bottle says it works well on wood chips, sand, small pebbles, hay straw, and more. So, it’s worth a shot in your own yard if things are looking messy! Our Wetpour Resin is a specially developed PU binder which has been designed to work in cooperation with either EPDM wetpour rubber, SBR wetpour base rubber or any coloured rubber mulch product. The binder is solvent free and fast curing although times can be affected by both the temperature and the moisture within the atmosphere on day of installation. A resin dissolver or cleaning gel is available for this product so tool can easily be cleaned following the installation of a wetpour rubber surface or repair. Easihold can be spray applied using a standard airless sprayer. For the spray application, you can double the coverage area of 1 litre of Easihold – covering up to 2 m2 per litre. If you’re a gardener, you know that mulch can make or break a garden. Mulch is an essential part of your garden’s health, and it’s important to make sure that it’s in the right place and secured so it won’t blow away or be washed away in the rain. That’s where mulch glue comes in. Mulch glue is an adhesive specifically designed to hold mulch in place and provide a secure bond so that it won’t move around. trees for your “run-away” mulch! Keep your old mulch and use Hippie Mulch Glue instead. The trees you save will allow all of us to

We would recommend between 4mm and 10mm diameter for the best bond. But you can use stones up to 15mm and still achieve good results. Even larger stones can be bonded if clean and angular, but we wouldn't recommend for any foot traffic. Mulch and gravel in gardens are hard to keep in place due to disturbances such as leaf blowers and foot traffic. Mulch glues come in various types, including acrylic , polyurethane , and rubberized compounds. Acrylic adhesives offer superior weather and UV resistance, while polyurethane adhesives have greater flexibility and elasticity properties. Rubberized compounds are suitable for heavier applications, such as outdoor landscaping projects. You will need to choose the correct type of adhesive for your project based on the intended application. Application temperature range We recommend maximum of 1 litre per 2.8m² per coat and 1x5 litre Jerry can cover 12-14m² using Spray On Method per coat when applying by the Pour On or Spray On method for the strongest finish. Ensure that the first coat has been allowed to fully dry - don't over-saturate!Note: laying loose, that is *unbound*, gravel or small aggregate over a hard base is never a good idea. Read the FAQ to find out more. This project is using, or will be using, a *bound* gravel, so laying over a form base is acceptable. Placing the Gravel:
