It has the same four smooth wheels that I loved so much with my previous case, and it has a zip cover for the both the upper and lower compartments. My previous one only had the zip cover for the upper compartment, so if you opened it upside down your things would fall out. I was a little put off by the design, as I was worried all my clothes would be seen via the see-thru shell. But the internal netting kept that all safe and secure. Though be prepared to turn a few heads when rolling this around Heathrow.

I like to look for themes which run though a lot of different comments. There are two in this case. The first is that most owners were blown away by the quality, sturdiness and the good looks of these cases. Some of them were positively salivating (at least that is how it sounded!). All my big cases have been samsonite. Then I bought a small Swiss gear wheelie bag that didn’t last. Wheels fell off and there was no replacement. My last replacement didn’t even last 6 months, the handles coming off.It’s a beautiful and stylish suitcase, but what I love the most is the ease with which it glides along almost without my having to touch it (almost!). It gets 10 out of 10 from me and I promise to take better care of this one. Why Duifhuizen?
