The struggles that they have as colleagues, friends, then lovers is something that we don't see much in romance books. How this author interweaves points on racism and class wars into such a beautiful love story is brilliant. Bristol and Grip are EVERYTHING . The love they share is jealousy inducing. It's real and beautiful and heart stopping. Through the years it has never diminished. Ms. Ryan paints such a magical picture of two headstrong and stubborn people- if there was ever a couple meant to be together it was these two. Bristols career is going great, with so many new artist and contracts under her wing, she decides to follow Grip on his moving plans.. life is about to change for both of them.. so many new challenges and new things to fight for.. but their love is stronger than ever and nothing can break them apart. Grip and Bristol's friendship is what drew me to them in the first place. They build such a strong foundation in Flow and Grip that only continues to grow in STILL. As lovers there's so many intense emotions that still comes into play. They are both fiercely possessive and protective and I enjoyed to see that side of them especially Bristol.

Kennedy Ryan penetrated my soul with STILL. Her flawless and poetic prose kept me spellbound. Her narrative is strong, powerful and with STILL Ryan captures and explores clearly what's current in the world today, questions it and brings awareness to it with authenticity. Ryan is a devoted mother and a wife. When she is not busy writing she is passionate about doing whatever she can to help families that live with Autism. This is a cause that is close to her heart as her son ended up being diagnosed as having Autism when he was just two years old. Since then she has considered it her personal mission to try and help families find services and the resources that they require.As an adult, Kerris is on the verge of starting her very own business. She’s also ready to accept a proposal in marriage and to build a life that really she has always wanted to have. The one thing that is missing in her life is some form of love. She is engaged to Cam but she wants to see the passion reignite. There are so many great secondary characters in Still, we get to see Rhyson and Kai, Qwest, Jade, Marlon's Mom. Wow, it took me so much time to get around Grip because I knew it was going to be a very emotional ride and I needed to have a few strong hairs in me hahah not to cry that much but wow this book is just breathtaking.. so many emotions through the whole story... The way Kennedy take us in this ride full of love, and raw emotions, is just beautiful... With complex characters and a thought-provoking story-line, this book was a roller-coaster of emotions and you feel every one of those emotions most especially the intensity of the chemistry between Bristol and Grip. We all know how Grip and Bristol struggled in Grip to accept and fight for their love. In Still this love will keep been tested in so many levels because what you told me Kennedy is true "LOVE TESTED IS STRONGER" and their love is the stronger of them all. We all dream of someday finding a love like this. A love WITHOUT WALL. Where nothing is band, judge, sensor, discouraged. Where you get your heart and soul naked to another and is receive as the most valuable thing in the world. Were your happiness and safety means everything. Were your heart is so intertwined that ones doesn't beat without the other. That's the kind of love Grip and Bristol share.

OMG....This was an excellent read.Kennedy Ryan's ability to craft a tale and have the reader so invested in the characters is amazing. In addition to her incredible writing I loved the poetry in this novel. I would give this novel a 6 star rating because of how much I loved it. It was an excellent read. She might just be the one woman in the entire world that he probably can’t have. She is gorgeous and has a sweet personality. Walsh never even thought that he would find a soulmate like this, but he knows that if there is someone out there for him, Kerris is it. The only issue is that it was his very best friend that found Kerris first. This is one of the best books I've ever read. It's beyond beautiful. The characters are soo unbelievably amazing. This series has a power couple! I cannot think of another book that has that, not like Bristol and Grip. When You Are Mine is the first novel in the Bennetts Series by Kennedy Ryan. Sometimes, it seems that forever is just one heart beat away. At least that is how it feels for Kerris Moreton, the main character in this story.
