About this deal
Combining high audio resolution and numerous connectivity options, AT2020USBi adds a level of audio quality and practicality to the range of Audio-Technica microphones.
The sound quality is great; it does have a slight bump in the higher mid frequencies that can bring out some crispiness from time to time, but this can definitely be EQ’d out. The proximity effect adds a flattering touch to vocals, but the AT2020 is also a great microphone for guitar amps. The mic succeeds at picking up both the finger-picking and strumming sections, highlighting the best aspects of both.
This means that you can choose to hear only what’s coming out of the PC, or to only hear the direct signal from the Mic, or a blend of those two. e. a condenser mic to plug into any of the 4 XLR mic sockets on the mixer, and mixer usb to the laptop, but there’s one more thing my so needs to know and that’s how to install the DRIVERS on the laptop. The AT2020USBi is equipped with an high quality A/D converter with a sampling frequency of 24-bit / 96 kHz sound reproduction resolution. Like I mentioned, it includes a pop filter which is rare since most microphones don’t include one, and even though it feels a bit cheap, it’s still a free pop filter that works. Cheaper condenser microphones can be difficult to manage, and so Audio Technica wisely built the AT2005 to be dynamic, focusing all efforts on strong mid-range quality for a single person.A USB version must have seemed a no-brainer to Audio-Technica, and the AT2020 USB was released a few years ago.
