We strain these botanicals and add the resulting liquid to the still where our juniper, coriander and citrus are also soaking before the distillation starts. On the palate it is zingy and zesty with citrus, again combining with piney juniper and underlying earthiness. Launched in 2019, Berkshire Botanical Dry Gin is produced on the 9,000 acre Yattendon Estate in West Berkshire - the largest grower of Christmas trees in the UK. Henley Classic Dry Gin is beautifully constructed, with complexity, cohesion, transitions of flavour, and a hearty traditional core. I was not surprised that they won the best gin in England at the world gin awards, the blowing Stone has been my favourite ever since I first bought it!

Almost half a pound of sloes are used to produce every bottle of Bathtub Sloe Gin, perfectly complementing the juniper, cassia, cloves and orange peel in Bathtub Gin to create a Sloe Gin that is full of warming winter character. We are so proud to be part of the Henley-on-Thames community who are so supportive of the incredible local producers we are lucky to have in the area. Wrekin Spirit Distillery in Shropshire use hand-picked sloes from the hedges on their farm that surrounds the distillery.Botanicals: 9including juniper, angelica root, coriander seeds, orris root, cassia bark, orange peel, lemon peel, pink grapefruit, Norway spruce. The sloes are then steeped with their Original Dry Gin for over 3 months for an enticing colour and flavour. It was a fantastic experience working alongside Hawkridge Distillers in the creation of our own gin. Warming and inviting – initial sweetness of cinnamon and a hint of zesty orange gives way to a tempting fiery ginger which lingers deep into the finish. The Hartingowe Gin team in Germany hand-pick sloes from the Harz Mountains, which have a particularly fruity and aromatic character.

Green Room Distillery in London use hand-picked fresh sloes and steep them with their Green Room Dry Gin for at least 3 months before adding homemade sugar syrup. This process extracts natural oils and compounds and avoids the botanicals being affected by heat in the still, preserving their delicate flavours and viscosity.There are no industrial rectifying columns here and nothing is chill-filtered meaning all the flavour from the botanical extracts and essential oils meticulously selected by Jacob remain pure, creating premium-quality, artisan spirits.
