This size makes it extremely versatile, allowing you to use each of its features separately without any crossover. The running costs of a BBQ will depend on whether you use charcoal or gas as well as your cooking methods.

The hybrid thing seems to work quite well, I've done 3 coal cooks on it all have gone well, there is no air flow control like a weber when using coal so temp control is limited to opening and shutting the lid.We didn’t get to test these options, but did use a separate pizza stone, which worked well, although it doesn’t get hot enough to compete with a dedicated oven.

The tray leaves a very small space for charcoal, so some of our larger charcoal pieces were too big to fit underneath comfortably. The larger model also makes better use of the space underneath by turning it into a cupboard with twin metal doors. If you don't have the possibility we do recommend all year round to check under the cover for condesation water regulary to prevent the grill from rusting. Where some people invest in one charcoal grill as well as a corresponding gas model, combo grills reduce the waste of cost and space that this brings and streamline everything into one.
