Snotlout and Dogsbreath the Duhbrain were sitting on Fishlegs while Fireworm set fire to a pile of Fishleg's workbooks. Hiccup learned in How to Twist a Dragon's Tale and How to Break a Dragon's Heart that Valhallarama was destined to marry Humongously Hotshot the Hero, but thanks to Alvin she married Stoick instead. She once stole a pair of underpants from Stoick the Vast, while he was still wearing them which is similar to Snotlout's achievement of stealing a pair of Baggybum's underpants whilst he was still wearing them.

The Hooligans had a long-running feud with the Bog-Burglars which had started many, many years ago, when the Bog-Burglars stole the shield of Hiccup's great-great-grandfather, Grimbeard the Ghastly.
