Nicely dovetailing the origin, the Osbournes, and even Doc Ock, and also giving some good modernizations to Peter, his guardians, and his school. The story of a pseudo-mutant gone bad doesn't hold up to the rest until the X-Men join in, and then that becomes pretty delightful too. It all feels like a fun coming-of-age story for Peter, with a different perspective than what we were used to. Doc Ock gets an arc, Spidey gets introduced to Nick Fury who knows he’s Peter Parker, Spidey tells Mary Jane he’s Spider-Man and they start going out sooner than the OG series, and it all comes to an end with a crazy intro arc to Venom.Using her own unique set of skills, Zoe eventually closes in on the killer until they come face to face for the final kill. Letztendlich war es Bendis´ Name, der mich zu diesem Omnibus greifen ließ, und ich habe es nicht bereut. And it makes no sense that they do, because then you would assume that the characters get a heavy focus right? I know it isn't really fair to compare, but this retelling allowed them to improve on the original run on many levels. What I found was a really endearing story of a young Peter Parker trying to figure this spider thing out but in a modern telling.

He does art the way that I like it and he's always been one of the best but I think his art just lines up perfectly with Spider-Man.
